![]() Character Name: Namami Oishisou Gender: Female Age: 17 Height: 5’2” Weight: 130lbs Description or Image of Character Appearance: ![]() ![]() Occupation: N/A Grade Level: Freshman Powers/ Abilities: This girl’s powers are not offensive in the least bit. She’s able to heal almost any injuries to her body. Of course she can’t do something silly like re attach her head or bring herself back from the dead, but minor injuries like cuts, bruises, and even broken bones and she can even regenerate parts of her body - small parts, like a finger or toe. In theory, she could regenerate an arm or leg in a longer amount of time, but she hasn’t wanted to experiment with that. Bloodloss also is no problem for the girl, as her body seems to keep creating blood to refill what was lost. Equipment You Have: A locket with a picture of her mother Schedule: Homeroom: Hiro 1st: Supernatural Studies 2nd: History LUNCH 3rd: Art Personality Description: Namami is basically a classic book worm. She’s very quiet, timid, shy, and blushes constantly. Even by being shy though, the girl is friendly when she’s forced into a situation where she has to speak with someone, or if she sees someone that seems hurt or alone. She’s a very caring individual and will often spring from her shy shell to help someone in need, even sacrificing herself for them. Personal History: Namami’s life was very… complicated. When she was very young her father decided that his whole marriage had been a terrible mistake and left his wife and child on their own. Since then, Namami’s mother was very protective of her daughter, and the two were very very close. Namami grew to a healthy ten years before anything else happened miserably in her life. Only a few months after the girl’s tenth birthday, her mother was in a car accident and died shortly after. Namami was heartbroken. None of the girl’s family wanted her. Her mother was an only child, and her mother’s mother was far too old to care for a ten year old. On her father’s side, they viewed the girl as a pest, a burden on their family. No one would take her, so she was sent to an orphanage. The girl was miserable day in and day out. She was very small, very quiet, and was often picked on so much she’d go to her room and hide under the covers, crying for hours. She had few possessions, fewer potential parents, and as she aged… an increasing amount of…abnormalities. It started around age 13. Namami was being picked on - as usual - and one of the boys shoved her a little too hard, and a little too close to the stairs. The girl tumbled down and instantly began screaming in pain, clutching her arm to her chest, the appendage limp and swollen…obviously broken. But… before anyone could even attend to her wounds, or call the ambulance… Namami was already up and rubbing her tear-filled eyes - with her ‘broken’ arm no less. It was over time she realized that any scratch she received, any bump, any bruise… it all healed abnormally fast. More and more she tested to see just how far this magic went… The furthest her experiments went was really just an accident. While helping with dinner one night, the girl lopped the tip of her finger off. She gushed blood, of course, but in no time flat the bleeding stopped, and in only a few moments more her finger was as good as new, no scar, no nothing. Of course, all these anomalies made the orphanage even more wary of her… Children started ignoring her instead of even casually talking to her, and picked on her more than usual. And eventually, in her last four years at the orphanage, they began ignoring her all together. Namami spent her last four years in seclusion, alone with her books and a laptop. She wasn’t unpleasant because of it, and she was all smiles, but there was always something in her that seemed fragile, beaten and defeated. But, the girl was happy and cheerful, and was even more excited when she was browsing the internet to try to find someone else with her… ‘condition’… and found Hyakuji. The girl was puzzled, interested, and eager to get away from the orphanage, so it was decided. She ran. And ran. And ran. Edited by Amaya, Jan 12 2009, 12:34 AM.
