You know, it is easy for people to forget about God and how He has the power to help anyone who believes in Him fully. With the world economy in a recession, and interest rates dropping - my wife and I saw the perfect opportunity to refinance our mortgage, roll the car in and get enough money left over to install a heat pump for the upcoming winter season. Previously, we have been fortunate enough to have found the perfect house for all of us to live in - and with this new crisis in the world, we have managed to find a way in which to survive it. Reducing our debts played a big part in this. No more impulse buying at the grocery store ...However, without credit cards, we have managed to get ahead of ourselves for a change and we figured that maybe our bank would take another look at our situation. And ... a prayer to God to ask for His help in this matter certainly assisted, I believe, in making the entire deal fall into place. So, with great joy, an amazing miracle has occurred - God has seen to it that we can get our loan refinanced, and we can afford to do what we wanted in getting a heat pump installed into the house. Have you had a miracle in your life lately? Tell us about it. |

Sometimes it just takes awhile for a prayer to be answered. I have a friend who lives in California. I met her online. After getting to know her I found out that she belonged to Wicca. She claimed to be a white witch. Anyway, she introduced me to her friend in England named Kim. She thought Kim and I would get along because we both were Christians. Kim and I started praying and asked God to intervene in Jeanine's life. Fast forward to now (a year and a half or maybe two years later.) I had not heard from Jeanine in a long time and low and behold, there she was online so I said hello and we started chatting. Then came the great news. SHE HAS GIVEN UP WICCA AND IS NOW PRAYING TO "GOD." Although this is really great news, I did learn something. It is called "Patience." God's time for doing something is His time, not mine. It is important to understand that just because we think our prayers should or will be answered in our good time, we must remember, it is God's good time when they will be answered. So, when ever you start to give up or get frustrated about a prayer that is not being answered, Remember, God will answer it in His Good Time. Brother Scott |
