I say to nap, and not to rest, because I do not feel like I can entirely drop this this world that I came up with. The thing is that I just cannot deal with it at this current time so it is going on hiatus; for how long, I'm not sure, but I just could not keep up after things picked up again at the roleplay I've been an admin for since 2007.
Hopefully I might be able to shape myself up on the other site I help run so that sometime in the future I may come back to this project. When that time comes, a mass e-mail will be sure to go out.

So I was trying to figure out where to put this....first I thought Admissions and Records and then saw this area...sorry if I'm a dufus and am seriously missing something obvious here. Ashley has very pale skin, lightly feathered with some freckles that are easily covered with make-up. She has medium length auburn hair that she often curls; her hair is her prized trait and she takes careful care of it. She also has light blue eyes and thin lips; Ashley thinks she is pretty when she puts in the effort, and she often finds herself in front of a mirror for hours on end making sure others see her that way. History Ashley Henson was born in Ontario Canada to a muggle father (Ira) and a half-blood mother (Josephine), on September 13th. By the age of three her parents thought it best they move to the states, and resided through most of her childhood in Seattle, Washington, by the age of twelve she received three letters of acceptance, two from the Canadian Magical Institutes, and one from the United States. Being Canadian Natives her parents opted to send her to the Ontario School of Magical Arts, she graduated near the top of her class in Magical Studies. She might have gotten top of her class if she wasn’t so busy with her involvement in the student body, she was what one would call a popular student, lending her hand in the community and organizing events like student balls. The first years of her life were focused on attending a small muggle public school, with her mother home schooling her in basic magic history and life, never breaching into spell basics or potions until she was of proper age to understand. Her family life was rather normal excluding her mother’s “abilities”, Ira Henson worked as a chemist, often finding jobs with the big name universities and learning institutions. He always liked to call when he did magic at its purest. Josephine Henson liked to write poetry and small tales, but gave up her passion to be a writer when Mark Henson(M) came along when Ashley was five. Cameron Henson(M) was the second sibling, joining the family when she was seven, and Maria Henson(F) the last of the siblings to join when she was nine. Cameron showed some magical tendencies at a young age, but Maria and Mark never gained the “abilities” of their mother, sister and brother, leaving them more than a bit envious. Ashley hasn’t spoken to Mark or Maria since she was twenty three, though she and her brother Cameron are relatively close. Cameron graduated from Ontario School of Magical Arts, and obtained a job handling magical creatures, eventually opening his own pet shop, marrying a woman named Alyssa Truble, and is now raising two beautiful twin boys Jared and Vince Henson. Ira and Josephine are still married, and keep in close contact with all their children, though Mark and Maria blame Ira for having to live life as normal muggles, often treating him as less of a father for it. Ashley on the other hand never got married, she got close a few times but the men would always fall short for this or that reason. Trevor Burel was the love of her life for a good six years, but one day he just up and left her for her best friend at the time Jennifer Kusky, that was when she decided she needed to move to California and get away from Canada and Washington all together. It was while trying to settle her life in the Golden State that she found out about the job opening at Sennera Magical Academy, and decided it would be worth a shot to apply. She had done lots of small teaching jobs after graduating, mostly subbing for different subjects here and there. Personality Ashley has a very interesting personality, she has a few obsessive compulsive disorders to deal with, that often get in the way of her life, such as the obsession with her looks and how others perceive her. She loves to help and is very active when it comes to organizing any events ranging from balls to community service; she really loves to be involved. She doesn’t make new friends easily, but she will be pleasant to anyone she meets; even those that are rude to her she will make an effort to make them like her. She’s never really been selfish but she only shares (whether it is credit for doing something or material objects) with those she deems deserving. She can have a very sharp tongue when she wants, but usually her pleasant façade is firmly in place. She likes to resolve problems with logic and reason rather than acting hands on, and she despises blatantly stupid people.
