![]() Marching orders... Michael Weyman will be out of action until round 12 Canberra forward Michael Weyman has been slapped with a six-match ban after entering early guilty pleas to two striking charges from the Raiders' loss to the Gold Coast. Weyman was sent off for fighting with Titans utility Daniel Conn, and will be out of action until the Raiders' round 12 clash against the Sea Eagles. Weyman reacted to a tackle from Conn with a barrage of punches which left the interchange forward with several cuts and bruises to the face. Meanwhile, Melbourne Storm forward Adam Blair has avoided suspension after entering an early guilty plea for a so-called 'chicken wing' tackle. Blair was cited after wrestling Broncos hooker Michael Ennis to the ground illegally, but will be available for Melbourne's grand final rematch against Manly on Friday night. Parramatta's Brett Finch and Joel Reddy have also pleaded guilty to dangerous throws and will be free to play against the Titans on Friday night. |
