Manly will be looking to follow up its crushing first win of the season when it plays South Sydney at Brookvale Oval this afternoon.

The Sea Eagles thrashed New Zealand 52-6 on Monday after losing in the opening two rounds.

The Rabbitohs are yet to win this season and are struggling with injuries.

Manly prop Josh Perry says the win over the Warriors should kick-start his team's season.

"It was pretty much a must win for us, we played OK the first two games but a win was what we needed to get our confidence back and I suppose learn how to win again," he said.

"Hopefully we can keep doing that for the rest of the year."

The Rabbitohs will be without hooker Isaac Luke while co-captain Roy Asotasi has to overcome concussion to start.

Centre Nigel Vagana is also injured and says it is tough not to rush back before he should.

"Definitely, I guess if it was sort of late in the season and we were fighting for survival and it was like a play-off game, then maybe I'd be pushing to go in the team," he said.

"But at the end of the day it's only round three so hopefully the boys can hold off and get through this tough period and come out the other side."
