“Nearly there!” A shout came across all five of the helicopter’s headsets. Its crew scouted the horizon of the lush green Amazonian forest. A man, in his mid twenties, muttered something.

“What?” His crew replied quickly. “What did you say?”

“This is it! I’ve seen this before! We’re close!”

-GvvCHNK!- There was silence. The propellers seemed to stop instantly. "Oh Sh-" The pilot was dead before the rest of his sentence became blood pouring from his mouth.

“What the hell!?!” Was among one of the many things the living members of the crew shouted as the helicopter plummeted towards the earth.

Lenny Garlan Fadero III, what an arrogant name. At least that’s what its owner though. He preferred Three. That is what he required anyone to call him. Those that didn’t were immediately on the wrong side of Three.

“No! You…GAH! Yeh just tap the thing like this!” Three gave an old stone a soft tap and it slid and ground its way into a cobblestone floor. It sunk with a satisfying sound of something releasing further down the tunnel. “Yeh needs to watch your pressure on these. Don’t break’m!” He turned back to the others that followed him down this long corridor. He suffered from a high widow’s peak. He did his best to hide that with a jet black fohawk which only accented the problem. His dark brown eyes had turned a shade of crimson during this time of the year. He was tall, and lean, this only made his large head seem more oblong than it was. He was by no means the most attractive guy, yet he had the charm of the most brooding of bad boys. He was covered head to toe in various tan clothing. All of them were the attire of the average ‘Grave Robber’. He preferred the title of ‘Truth Restorer’.

He glanced over to his favorite female counterpart ‘D’. “You, yer taken the risk this time.” He shook his head at her, his large eyes focused on her eyes. “Not settin’ me up like yeh did last time sweetheart.” He walked over and ‘gently escorted’ her to the set-in stone. “Lesse what the dead planned out.”

D smirked lightly as she met the eyes of her closest and most trusted companion. "Aw, come on. Ye know ye liked it," she laughed lightly, her voice lightly decorated with a soft English accent. Her tri-blue eyes sparkled with the mischief that was her trademark. D's long blonde hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail that shows off the dark red streaks that she placed in it recently.

"All right, ladies and gentlemen," she said turning to the group behind them. "Let's go down the dark tunnel of doom." With that, she laughed and walked forward. Her short, thin build was perfect for getting into tight spots, her long arms and legs were slender, but built with years upon years of working as a Restorer. Many men found her attractive as once they got to know her due to her irrestible flirtations and her silly nature, but then again she could turn on a dime and become the meanest girl in town only if you messed with her. She wore the typical brown pants with a utility belt that held her various tools of the trade, brown boots, and her white t-shirt was quickly turning tan with all the dirt and dust flying through the air.

Survivalist Jeffery Gordon stood at the head of the group. The man was a genius in survival situations. He has a masters in forestry, and is certified in climbing, SCUBA, piloting, and is a trained EMT. Although 42, he has still kept up physically. He was balled, had green eyes, and a large build. He usualy traveled light, yet had the tools for the occasion. He always had his kukri machete in a leather sheath on his back, as well as a 5 and 1/4 in tanto knife on his belt, also in a leather sheath. Today he also had climbing gear, including pitons, rope, picks, and carabiners on a day pack he was wearing. His world travels led him to work a lot with Three, who he stands behind now. He had come to trust and respect him.

Three had seen it all before. A trigger, a release, a shot, and the trap would be done. D had been with him enough to know that she would nearly always be the front runner in trap finding. She never tired of it, nor feared it. At least not from what Three could see. He watched D vanish into the dark of the corridor, Her flashlight was the only beacon of her still being alive.

-Clink!- Trigger.
-Glglglglglunk- Release.
-Thew!- Shot.
-Thud- The trap was done.

Three knew D was fine, her flash light didn't move. In fact, she hadn't released the trap at all. He heard gurgling from someone behind him. "Gordon." Three spoke out. "I'm sorry mate. Yeh, should've been watchin." He said softly to a man laying on the ground. He was clasping his throat, an arrow at its center. The man gurgled as he clenched his throat. There would be no survival, no attempt to waste supplies and save his life.

-Silence- Death was upon us.

"Ye'd all be best to learn from this man's mistake. Jeff was a good man. Not a careful one, it seems." With this Three and his group began to wander further down the hall. The had no choice but to leave Jeffery Gordon behind, his foot still on the small stone that triggered his death.

D paused in her step, hearing a trap get set off and then the telling thud of a body. She closed her eyes and sighed softly. Turning back to Three and the group, she called out, "Lemme guess. We lost someone." Glancing at the fallen comrade, she shook her head and muttered, "Amateurs..."

When the group caught up to her, she looked at Three and gave him a skeptical look before walking on. She bounced her flashlight from side to side, up and down, looking for more traps to set off. She began to hum to herself, a quirk that helped her think. Eyeing the dusty floor, she begins to chewing on her bottom lip lightly and took a deep breath.

Martin Molnar eyed Gordon's body, and shuddered. Known as "mole," he was an accomplished archeaologist, and preferred being underground, due to being albino. More than anything, he loved to dig, and enjoyed being called upon to unearth various relics. His eyes were an unnatural pink, and right now were obscured behind a large pair of goggles. He hoped that whatever they were after was buried; he hadn't been able to use his pick ax in a while. It might be considered unorthodox, but he had a special knack for finding just the right point in the ground to dig something up unharmed. He watched D proceed, nervously fingering his ax in anticipation.

Tessandra wiped her sweating palms on the tops of her capri trousers. They were a dark beige, and she wore a pale green linen shirt with a dark green tank top underneath. She had a headtorch on and a small rucksack. Her mid-length brown hair was tied up in a ponytail, strands of loose hair and her fringe framing her face. She didn't really want to be here. She was an archeology and anthropology student out here for a field year, but she didn't like risk. Still, the prospect of witnessing whatever Three was after was too great to pass up. The paper she could write could get her top Honours.

She stepped over the dead body, breathing in deep through her mouth to stop herself vomiting. The others hardly flinched. Tess controlled her breathing. Stay calm. Stay calm. She kept with the group, and scanned the walls like D was doing. "This is stupid," she thought, "I have no idea what I'm doing...."

D continued down the long tunnel, using long sweeps of her flashlight, illuminating every angle to each crevice of the inlaid stones at her feet. Her breathing was calm, despite the excitement she felt inside her mind. Mmmmhmm, I see you, my pretty, she thought to herself and fought the smirk from her lips as she did a little jump over a slightly lifted stone.

A thought passed through her mind as she stopped and looked over her shoulder at Three and the rest of their small group, but she wanted to test the new crew out, give them a bit of a test drive. She knew Three was good, otherwise she'd have been dead years upon years ago.

Dust floated in front of the flashlight as she turned back around to continue her journey in the dark. Her concentration on the dark stones that lay under her feet and her eyes caught something ahead of them. Squinting slightly, she paused and waited for Three to join her, not saying anything so she wouldn't get everyone's hopes up.
