Good day, ladies! Welcome to the abode of the Sirens of Scripture. It is a bright day indeed when we have a new member join us. The Sirens of Scripture is a group of girls, women, ladies, even hags, all dedicated to the beautiful art of roleplaying. It may be a male dominated world, but we are indeed the ones that hold it all together! It is very important that you know the guild guidelines below. 1. Play to perfection. If you are a member of this group, perfection is what we strive for. None of us will ever reach perfection, so don't get all cocky. There is always room for growth, but we should always strive to do our best. When you roleplay, you are not only representing the guild(s) you are a member of, but you also represent yourself with every word you type. So make them count! 2. Be a teacher. With the perfection mindset, you should also strive to teach with your posts. It has always been a firm belief of mine that you strive to both learn and teach when you roleplay. You learn when reading the work of others, and you do your best to ensure that others can also learn from your own posts. 3. Participate. You can't just join the guild because you are a girl and like roleplaying. You join because you are a girl, you like roleplaying, and you want to help promote RP growth, community growth, and individual growth. We are all a team, so when we have competitions and contests with other guilds, or even within our own guild, I expect participation! 4. Have fun. Yes, this is a guild for girls only, guaranteeing that there will be competitions with male guilds, such as the Monolithic Role Players, but the ultimate goal of RPing is to have fun. Never forget this. Do your best to be a good sport, being an example, and others will surely follow suit. As leader, I reserve the right to add guidelines as I see fit! If you have any ideas for guidelines that we ladies should follow, just shoot me a PM! =] |
