Entering the battle hall already? Brave soul! Here is a guide, please read this over before going off to battle! What do I do first? Make sure you are part of a guild first! Then see what your guild leader wants you to do. You need to get guild points, competing against other guilds is the fastest way to do that! Once you are sure of what to do, you need to ready yourself for battle and post up a challenge, or join a challenge! What can I do here? You compete against members of different guilds of course! Here you are allowed to go one on one or many on many against other guilds in battles that range across many mediums. How do I battle and win? First, you must post up a challenge. You must call out a guild or multiple guilds. You cannot call out a member, but you can call out their guild. We like competition, just don’t be too personal! There are a few different competitions you can do here to earn points for your guild. All you have to do is just set up a challenge. Once a guild has accepted the challenge (A simple reply saying we accept, from a member of that guild, will do.) then you are considered to be battling. Once both guilds have finished and the deadline is met, then your pieces will be held up for review by the public. Everyone will be able to vote on the guild they think did best. After a voting time is up (Typically a week’s time.) then a winner will be declared and awarded points. Writing: You can challenge a guild to a writing competition. You set what to write and when to complete it. Role Playing: You set what to role play and how it will be done. You can set a post or page limit, even a time limit. Battle: You set the rules of a fight. You will actually battle out against the guild in a battle role play. Time limits or page limits are welcomed as ways to determine an end. If you start a challenge and it is accepted, please put the date or page limit so staff knows when to attach a poll to the topic and close it for review! |
