Anyone who wants can submit a character to this thread. Just talk about his description, story, and items he is carrying. ex. Name: Richard Rorschach (don't call him dick!) Age: 28 Education: PhD. in Bio-medical engineering Description: A man of intelligence, Richard still wares the lab coat from his job at Edristn Pharmaceuticals. Underneath he has a black dress shirt, now wrinkly. He wears an untied silver tie around his neck. His eyes are a deep blue, portraying with a seance of regret. He wears tan dress pants, with a black solid leather belt. His shoes are a pair of running shoes, which he took from an unoccupied store, because his loafers were not made for running. Items: Clothes. a watch. a leatherman knife. a 45, 6 shot, revolver with 5 shots. 4 vials of HCL acid. A bottle of morphine. and a surringe (I know that is misspelled, shut up). History: Directly after he graduated MIT, Richard moved to Long Island, New York, to take up a new job at Edristn Pharmaceuticals. The company had nothing to due with the virus, yet didn't discover a cure either. When the virus started eating away at society, he worked day and night trying to find a cure. When he finally ran out of food, he migrated to the city to try to survive. *********************************************************************************************************************************************** The story takes place in New York City. Most of the resources in the city are already looted by the few survivors, who often fight and kill each other for the few bits left. There is no electricity, except from generators, and society is all but destroyed. The rest is open to interpretation. The little stuff can be placed in the forum without consultation. Any major suggestions post hear. ********************************************************************************************************************************************** It has been 5 years since the virus originally started spreading. In the course of the first 2, 93% of the infected instantly died. 6.5% turn to zombies, slowly withering away in pain. The remaining .5% were immune to the airborne contagion. No one can be immune to the version spread by blood to blood contact. All that are infected by that form turn to zombies. After that no further statistics were released. ********************************************************************************************************************************************** Besides that I reserve the rite to rule 0 any decision (meaning override any decision). I will not do this unless someone is godmoding. Edited by Colton C, October 11 2008, 04:31 PM.

Conor Ginsburg Age: 27 Appearence: 5'9, 136 pounds, brown hair, blue eyes. Lean but muscular. Equipment: crowbar, bottle of alcohol (20 ounces), 7 apples, 3 cans mixed vegetables, welding mask and torch, can of gasoline, water canteen, alan wrench set, welding gloves, earplugs, journal and pencils, old fashioned spring wound watch that he restored. History : A repair guy who is proficient with getting most anything to run once broken. Was working on a refrigerator in a grocery store when the plague broke out. Gathered as many provisions as possible and hid out in the ceiling. The canned provisions in the store are running dangerously low five years later, and he knows he'll be forced to leave soon. Has been recording anything of note, like zombie movements and maps of the store, as well as any time he hears a confrontation between survivors and zombies. My apologies for "god-modding." Is this acceptable? Edited by RockmanG, October 23 2008, 04:51 PM.

Boardman of Advanced Thinkers

Name: Bruno Age: 37 Description: Bruno is of medium build, of course this is partly due to the fact that he has rationed himself during the pandemic. He owns a butcher's shop which is a front for the mob. He has green eyes and dark hair. He normally wears a butcher's apron that is stained from use. While fending off zombies from a raid, he tripped over a chair and injured his knee. It didn't heal correctly because he never got medical help for it. He can still run, but it becomes stiff after a short while. He also has a cocaine addiction from his work with the mob. Items: pump shotgun with 3 rounds left in it, 6 rounds of shells from the box of shells (located in an apron pocket), a meat cleaver, a watch, assorted other butcher's knives (I wont have two many. Maybe one or two extras besides the cleaver.), apron, and half a kilo of cocaine. History: As mentioned before, Bruno works for the Russian mafia. His parents never really cared about him and one day while he was wandering around the city, the head of the mafia picked him up and gave him a job. The reason behind the mob boss giving Bruno the job is the fact that Bruno always walked through the mafia's territory without knowing. When he grew up, the mafia taught him how to be a butcher and gave him a shop in a location across the city. It was during these times that he became addicted to cocaine, the prime drug of the mafia. When the initial wave of the zombie virus spread, he locked himself into the butcher's shop with all of the meat and cocaine that was there (a total of about 100 kilos of cocaine). In five years, he has eaten most of the meat and used all but half a kilo of cocaine. He doesn't dare leave the shop because he doesn't want anyone to steal the millions of dollars hidden in the walls (including ceiling and floor) of the shop. Name: Zachary Anders Webb Age: 24 Occupation: General practicioner (Medicine), Microbiologist. Education: Harvard Description: Tall and slim, somewhere about six foot tall, slim and lean, no bulky muscle mass. Somewhat small shoulders. Not a hugely athetlic person, so he generally has trouble keeping up with a pack when running, or doing much overly physical work, however he recently began going to a gym regularly, so while he is still weak now, he is at least on the track to becoming somewhat average. Anders is classed a general practicioner, but personally prefers the regular surgeries he is often a part of or a spectator of, or often his labwork within the hospital as a microbiologist, working with viruses. Anders is clean shaven and has no facial hair. He has a pale complexion and has fair, unblemished skin. His hair is hazelnut brown, and his eyes are a striking Emerald green. He doesn't require glasses. He is a fairly friendly man--despite having few intellectual peers, or friends for that matter--but is somewhat quiet until provoked. He has no living family, before or after the epidemic. Items: His clothes: white sneakers, white pants, black T-shirt and white 'Doctor' coat, un-buttoned. Medicine bag with sewn on shoulderstrap, which includes a small number of basic painkillers, antibiotics, cloth, syringes and anti-depressants. A looted police Glock 17 with 15 round magazines, one loaded with eight rounds left, one extra magazine, full. Looted police handheld radio. History: He grew up in Seattle, then moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts to study medicine at harvard when he was nineteen. After getting out of university he headed straight to Manhattan, New York City, to work at the New York presbytarian hospital. He releases regular papers on his work, which draw him some small amount of fame within the local medical community. Edited by Zac, November 13 2008, 02:44 AM.

I have to veto your character. He is too good. I have no problem with doctors, yet I want my people to be average, not famous and award winning. I would probably have let that go, yet I feel you have too many items. One gun would be good, two is accessible. If you want such a filled medical bag, I would have to say no guns. If you want to keep the teaser, cut down on the medical bag to the basics. First aid, painkillers, and anti-biotic. Finally, could you keep your entries shorter, and in standard print in the IC. I find the small print hard to read. You can post more details in the OoC if you feel you want more description. Besides entering posts, I like to keep them relatively short. Thank You, Colton P.S. I re read this, and I realize I sound like a ass. I wasn't trying to, yet I do not want to spend the time to re-write it. Edited by Colton C, November 11 2008, 08:59 PM.

Completely understandable, and yes, I believe I may have written him as more of a novel protagonist than as a participant of a role playing game. It has been edited accordingly so as to make him more handicapped. Does he fit your requirements as of this latest draft? |

I like him. However, -It is 5 years since the virus outbreak. I am not sure if you know that. It is different than Immortal Medical. -I would say after 5 years, you probably wouldn't have full clips. I sub jest having the second partly unloaded. I would like to say welcome! To catch you up (because the rest of us attend the same school and talked about this), We are going to try to find a mechanic next so we can fix up a car and use it. Rockman's character used to be a mechanic, and lives in the supermarket across the street from his old shop. You can introduce your character whenever you feel an opening. If you want something more specific, like us eventually finding you instead of the other way around, just PM me and we can work with me. Finally, make sure you read the entire IC. I am not sure if you have already. Besides character regulation and basic plot, I leave characters open to alter the universe through small changes. i.e. controlling zombies and finding realistic loot. Thanks for joining. EDIT: I know that I sound picky now, yet after characters are created I am pretty lenient. Edited by Colton C, November 11 2008, 11:44 PM.

I do not usually double post, yet I feel that this is on a completely different subject. I will from now on separate episodes within the IC. I will do this by content, not length. That way, If people do not like the way an episode moves, we can start at the end of the last one. Or if people do not like a completed one, we can remove if from the cannon. Episode titles will be marked in black and numbered. |

Righty-o, edited the bullets in his first magazine, also customised the medicine bag to make sense and finally figured out a name for him that I liked somewhat. |

Thanks. I know I sound picky, yet could you make your entry in the IC standard size. I find the small one hard to read. Great entry though! |

Name: Veronica DelRio Age: 23 Description: Veronica stands at average height with the body type that suits her job as a stripper. Her coffee colored skin is quiet exposed, for she isn't one for wearing much clothing. Her gray tank top is stained and blood splattered, as is the leather jacket and ripped shorts that she wears. Her dark hair is cropped short, and her dark brown eyes are usually covered by a pair of aviator sunglasses. Items: Lighter, Cigarettes she scavenged out of stores, a handgun, a pocket knife, and a compact mirror. History: Veronica's past isn't too eventful. She had grown up as a rather poor inner city child, and strived to get out of the ghetto she lived in. At the age of eighteen she did, but living alone had become hard for the young woman to handle, along with paying for her college. This is probably why Veronica became a stripper, so that she could make enough to get by. Being the jaded type of person she was, Veronica didn't exactly go into a state of hysteria went the virus broke out and instead did what she could to survive by whatever means it took. I hope that this is acceptable. Edited by Inerio, May 17 2009, 10:38 PM.
