New Cash System; Ideas anyone?

Owner Posts: 109 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: June 29, 2008	I'd like a general public idea about this cash system I have implemented. Currently, I have no way of stopping it from giving you cash on every post you make. However, it does calculate a posts length and the likes... Giving a varied amount of money per post. I plan to use this system for a teaching and learning system, an academy of sorts. Where users can buy tests, and also 'rent' tutors. This can also be used as a trade currency on the boards. You can use it to buy avatars and the likes from people who would like to make them. I plan to have cool stuff for you to be able to buy as well. More things are to come as well, such as lotteries, richest users and things like that. However, this isn't my code, this is one coded for us... So it will be time before that happens... Right now you can donate credits to users... Just by clicking their username... And when you see their profile, you can click, Profile Options. Then click donate.. enter in how much you wish to give.. and there you go ^^. Any trades made, must be withheld. If something isn't traded correctly, please contact one of the staff members!

In any case, I don't see any reason why not to implant it ... Someone will surely find a way to abuse it, but heck, we've got mods and amnis, it should be alright.

Only good RP posts can build up your "account", and even then it takes time. Meh, as long as you don't make it essential to roleplaying on this site, only to get certain member-to-member advantages, no-one can bitch, can they ? Can they ?

It seems like it's going to really help encourage people to think more about their posts, and try harder to go into more detail. Hopefully It'll improve the quality of the role plays on here, maybe raise the bar in terms of standards on the site? We're obviously not going to become some sort of elitist group that dictates to people how to do things, but it would be nice to have people writing long posts anyway
