So, we have plenty of features on this site. But, nothing is perfect? I want to know what kind of elements you would like to see on this site. If you think you could even help work on your ideas some, I could help and put you in charge of your ideas! |

I'd like to be able to delete posts. I will frequently post very stupid things and I'd like not to have a blank edited post there. Besides, that, I dunno. Everything is just so good! |

I am not sure if it is possible, yet i was wondering if you could make GMs have moderator abilities on their own thread. i.e. be able to delete/edit posts we don't like. Also, we should be able to close our own threads when we think that the story is done (i am thinking into the future here). |

While that is a good idea, it grants people too much power within a forum. They have the ability to change everything in every topic they make. It's easiest just to report the problem and let a real GM take care of things ^^. That way we can easily keep logs and more simple communication without abusive power. |

As Vexar said, it would grant too much power to individuals. The first example that I thought of is if someone created a thread in General Discussion about politics. If everyone had power over all of their own threads, they could easily just delete or alter posts of users who may not have the same opinion as the thread creator. If we did not make it universal, and just gave a person moderator capabilities every time they created an RP thread, I think it would eventually get out of hand and be unbearable to manage as the site gets larger with more users and more threads. Those are just a couple reasons why I don't think that is a good idea. Vexar and I are on pretty frequently, as are the other moderators, so you just have to report something to one of us and we will take care of it pretty quickly. =) |

On the bottom right hand of every post, there is a button that says "Report" right beside the "Quote" button. Just click that, fill out the information, and we will get it. Or you can just PM someone on the staff with the link to the post and explain what the problem is. However, we can track things better if you just report the post. Let us know if you have any issues. =] |

I'd like to be able to see all the posts I've done, like on RPGW, it says "your posts" and "new posts". Because then it saves hunting around in each forum for topics you're in. Plus, I'm so useless I often forget I owe someone a reply, and lose track. So yeah, if that's doable that'd be cool ^_^. |

I agree, Tess. That would be a nice feature. I was obsessed with that "View Your Posts" button on Gateway. On the main forum index page, there is a link at the bottom that says "Replies to Your Topics." You can track the topics you have created there, I believe. So it's something for now. We'll see if Vexar can't do something about the aforementioned idea. |
