Whoo! my first RP here, I've had this idea a while ^^ Here's the IC: http://s1.zetaboards.com/roleplaysanctuary/topic/1620480/1/ You have been chosen to enrol in a school for the 'gifted', St.Obsidians. you were born human but once your potential was evident, you were spotted by this school and taken in to live there, as you would with any boarding school for the gifted, and be taught. There are the two houses within the school, Fire(demons) and Ice(angels)There is a deep set rivalry between the two but both fight to keep their existence secret from normal humans. The school has it's own grounds, separated from the rest of the world by surrounding forest and wildlife. Classes in the school are different for the two houses, as their natural alignment allows them to control the elements Demons: Fire and Earth Angels: Wind and Water However, each pupil also has an ability unique to them, and seperate classes are taken to help control them. It's a mixed sex school (let's make it fair ^^) and all the drama you expect to see with normal teens is here, just with a bit more deadlyness... Background: Born in England. Her parents thought nothing of her being whisked away to some fancy boarding school, they never had much time for her. A lonely girl, but not intentionally. She seems to fit in nowhere, so not many peple pay much attention. Not much of a demon in the eyes of others, Alexis can be bad tempered if provoked and can grasp the art of the elements well, but has yet to show any signs of an ability of any sorts. This has made her the source of a lot of teasing from many of her house mates. Other:She has two large scars on her back where her wings should be, she has no idea what caused them. Name: Airowyn Solblade (Nickname: Airo) Age:17 Allignment/House: Angel(Wind House) Appearence: He has long dark brown hair, with piercing blue eyes. He is tall and slender, but his strength has proven immense when tense and in a fight. His feathery wings are large, and tinted a light gray. He is one of the most manuverable of his race, contributing to his heritage, his control over Air, and his own athleticism. But the most apparent quality of him, is his voice. His voice is soft and gentle, nearly melodic, being able to unknowingly charm most Angel girls/ Background: Airowyn comes from a long line of Angels that pride themselves on being masters of the Air element. They staunchly oppose the demons, seeing them as abhorrent, but allow Airowyn to attend St.Obsidian's to keep their family legacy. Airowyn is shy and reserved, but can be loud and leading if he needs to be. He detests the views of his family, accepting anyone, be it human, Angel, or Demon, if they so choose to accept him. Power:Airo is able to bend the air so, that he can assimilate his own body matter into it, traveling like a gust of wind for either long journeys or for stealth purposes. Other: (optional) He has no current love interest, and generally keeps to himself, though he is far from unobservant of the opposite sex. |

Name: Claire Velun Age: 16 Allignment/House: Demon / Fire House Appearence: She has a black ponytail down to her shoulder blades and blood red eyes. He is fairly petite (about 5' 7") and about average in strength. Her horns sprout from her forehead about two inches, are obsidian black, and are retractable of course, leaving behind two very faint scars which Claire covers up with her bangs. She speaks in a loud voice that's slightly low compared to other girls. Her attitude can be questionable, since she's a demon after all. Background: Claire's parents were decent fire demons in their hayday, impressing even the "big man" himself. They were known for setting fire to every substandard person, angel and demon they find. The Velun family is perfect according to themselves, and Claire reinforces the idea. Her goal is to be the best of her class, her house, and her school, because according to her, the school IS hers. Power: She can spawn fire from any part of her body and manipulate the color of the flames. She can use this to proper herself into the air. Other: Inherited from her blood, she hates imperfection. She'll burn whatever isn't to her standards unless it happens to support something that does meet the standard. From the looks of this, y'all need a professor. I'll make one of those if you want. |

Name: "Forge" Ridel Tarario Age: 32 (As he is a teacher) Alignment: Demon (Earth) Appearance: As a being of the demon house of Earth "Forge" has a monstrous appearance, the likes of which has been known to frighten students to the core upon first, and often several more times after the fact. His height is an extremely abnormal ten feet, and his build has been described as one that could rival the strength of a meteor impact. In terms of his build, there doesn't appear to be any fat upon his body what-so-ever. All that would be fat is nothing but pure muscle. His arms alone are roughly the same diameter (possibly a bit larger) as a full grown tree trunk. His head is completely bald, and adorns a series of chard spots that remain from his previous job as a blacksmith, making weapons and armors for various armies. The only hair upon his head is his facial hair, which is in a scruff of beard/mustache, which is a coal colored black. His eye color is the same black to match is beard. His attire most often consists of just a simple pair of sweat pants. He chooses not to wear a shirt as most of them merely serve to hinder his movements due to his size. Thus, his torso is completely exposed, revealing his perfectly cut abs, and chest, as well the before mentioned arms. Personality: His size not to be taken as a sign of his personality (not entirely anyways). While he speaks in a gruff, borderline grumpy tone, he is actually a very relaxed, and easy going man, with a streak of a wild side to him. He tends to spend his Saturday nights drinking himself to a stupor, and dealing with the after effects in the mornings following the night out. On other occasions he has been known to take long naps under the shade of trees. But beware: When angered, he goes completely over the top, and the fun loving Forge Ridel Tarario becomes a literal monster. In his rages, he is not reluctant to make his students do strenuous work. Powers: His powers at their bases are quite standard given his house, and elemental alignment. As an Earth demon, he is gifted with super human strength and endurance, as well as a hold strong type of attitude reflective of his element. He can move the earth with the mere thought of it, as he has developed geokinetic powers over the course of his years. From below the surface of the earth, he can channel and manipulate magma. But it should be noted that earth is an extremely broad element in itself, containing the sub elements of metals, plants, and other solids derived from the earth. Not to anyone's surprise, Forge has become an seasoned veteran in the use of these sub-elements within his powers. He can create alloys from any metals he desires, even if no such alloy has ever been created before (though he must have a ready source of the material before he can do much of anything with it. But by far, the most powerful of his abilities is his radiation sourcing, in which he utilizes the output of radioactive metals, such as plutonium to create radioactive pulses, which, depending on the level of sourcing he performs, can range from minor burns and scars, to all out explosions, and the complete incineration of his target. Bio: Before he discovered that he was a demon of the house of earth, Forge was seemingly well aware of his powers. As a blacksmith, he was already inclined towards his element, and had the traits of anyone that has been of his house. His talent at the forging of weapons, and armor was praised worldwide, and earned him the reputation as being "The Forge" which later became a title put upon himself, and inserted into his name to help spread the word of his business. He had, in his youth, attended the school of St. Obsidian, and had been a rather storied member of the school community. He was both a brilliant student, a talented fighter in the combat training, and, to the disdain of his own teachers, one of the most troublesome pranksters in the school. But as with all things of childhood, Forge grew out of this phase, and ended up leaving St. Obsidian with great honors bestowed upon him. He now sees his teaching there as a way of connecting to what was once his home yet again. Other: It is his first year teaching. |
