Envy grinned at the sight of Lust and Greed together and raised an eyebrow at Gluttony. He had forgotten how much the fat Sin could eat and still be hungry. Pride looked as cold and haughty as ever, and Wrath seemed just as unpredictable as always--which as far as Envy was concerned made him all the more interesting. Sloth was...well, lazy as per usual. Which, of course, made him the perfect target for Envy to annoy. "I guess no one's really changed around here," he said teasingly. "But then again, humans haven't really changed either." Stuffing his hands in his pockets, he leapt into the back seat alongside Sloth and slung an arm "companionably" around his shoulders. "The soup kitchen sounds like a great place to do some damage to me. Lots of 'virtuous' people to corrupt, y'know?" |

Sloth was rudely awakened by a wet spot on his lap. Gluttony fulfilled his promise of pissing Sloth off. But the apathetic shield stayed firm as he shook Gluttony's shoulder. "Gluttony, you're drooling a bit. You may wanna..." Sloth shooed him away from his legs. Then he felt a hand on his shoulder. That forsaken Envy showed up. He's about as annoying as Sloth's opposite virtue. Sloth moved as quick as he ever did to smash Envy's fingers with his fist. "That took a lot out of me, you snob. Now I need to sleep. You two had best knock off this crap before I... Aw hell, just keep at it. I've been through worse." With that, his hand flopped back down, his head fell back, and he slept once more. |

Envy winced and simply "re-adjusted" his fingers. They clicked back into place painfully, but just leaving them wouldn't of helped anybody. "Well, I can honestly say I never expected that, Slothie. I guess even Vegas can't make you forget sleeping for awhile, huh?" he asked mockingly, deciding to not let his hands anywhere near Sloth for awhile. However, that wouldn't stop him from talking. "So, Slothie, how was Memphis? Already lazy, or did you actually have to work? What's the music like there? Any good shows? Pretty people? Scandals? Suffering? Rock n' roll?" Envy raised an eyebrow, grinning mischievously. It was always so much fun to push certain people's buttons, especially if they generally didn't show their metaphorical "hot spots", so to speak. |

Sloth didn't stir at all, but he half-moaned, "I slept through all the development. A freakin' jogger woke me up, and then I felt the presense of this damned place. I took a bus all the way here." Sloth knew who asked, but he thought he'd poke a little fun in return. "Doe that answer your question, Greed? I'm SOOO glad we haven't been driving all this time I've been trying to sleep." Despite his sarcastic undertone, he was totally serious about the driving thing. He hasn't slept since he got up and walked down the slot row earlier that day. |

Greed smirked softly at the conversation between Envy and Sloth. She glanced over at Pride, who still stood on the sidewalk, gave him an evil smirk and gave him a small salute before she put the car in drive. Stomping down on the pedal, the squeal of the tires on the pavement made Greed let out a laugh. The tires finally gripped the smooth pavement and the car shot off like a bat out of hell. Moving into the busy streets, Greed directed the car left, turning down a small alleyway. Bumping down the alley, she made sure not to damage her car by the garbage bins that sat close to the brick walls. Her eyes stayed on the road in front of the car, occasionally glancing at the rear view mirror and side mirrors, but she relaxed against her seat. Greed lowered her right hand from the steering wheel and ran her fingers through her hair. |

Envy laughed at the sudden rush of the car squealing down the alleyway, pretending to latch on to Sloth for safety. "Oh, no, we're going to fall off! Hold me, Slothie!" he wailed mockingly. He stared at the dismal area in mild curiosity, looking for any homeless people or thugs. Sadly, there seemed to be none...yet. "Greed, why are we going through here?" he asked as he continued to latch onto Sloth. "Is this where the soup kitchen is?" Somehow, he had expected a more holier-than-thou setting, but beggars (no pun intended) couldn't be choosers. |

Sloth barely opened his eyes when he saw Envy hooked on him. He groaned so it sounded like a snore and leaned forward, intentionally drooling on Envy's neck. If he was going to win, he would have to do better than sleep. This was going to be pretty hard since they were moving now. According to the forces he felt while in his half-snooze, they were either going in the right direction or the wrong one. He wasn't paying good enough attention. Then he hit his overhung hand on a garbage can and his reflexes reached for it with the safe hand, smacking Envy in the head enough for him to let go. Sloth pulled up his right arm and put both elbows on the top-most part of Envy (be it head or back), holding the back of his cut hand in pain. "Greed, my hand is..." Having become comfortable, he dozed off again, still putting his weight and drool on Envy. |

Greed pulled a sharp left and pulled onto a crowded street. The car, now, behind them blared its horn, only making her grin evilly as she floored the gas pedal once more. Shooting away from the angry driver as quickly as she had appeared in front of them. The noise of other horns only added to the gentle music of the wind roaring its way over the windshield and onto the passengers. "Hey, you two. Enough back there," Greed joked with Sloth and Envy. "We'll take care of your hand, Sloth, when we get to where we're going." Leaning forward, she pressed a few buttons and let the music blast out through the speakers. She was listening to the newest album of Disturbed. |

Gluttony had been almost sleeping, savoring the chocolate as it difested in his substantial gut. Now, he opened his eyes, grinning as he smelled the soup kitchen in the distance. His saliva began to run again, dripping on both Envy and Sloth. He could almost taste the bowl...and the spoon, and the soup, and the person giving it out, and...he shook his head, sending a spray of moisture onto the windshield of the car behind them. The person veered out of control and slammed into a grocery store. Gluttony grinned wider. He waved happily to the passerby. "Hey, Greed! When we're done at the Soup Kitchen, can we go to the grocery store?" He didn't even bother to wipe his mouth. Soon, the other two would need snorkels. Edited by RockmanG, March 30 2009, 08:01 PM.

No words need to be said when She is nearby; her presence speaks for itself. Standing at six feet, this blond-haired bombshell shouts volumes with every move. Pride sports a cream-colored silk shirt, barely visible under her deep purple blazer and matching pencil skirt. Pointed purple crocodile heels complete her ensemble, adding a few more inches to her slender figure. The crowded street corner was filled with Las Vegas' finest, from casino presidents to tacky tourists. It was feeding time, and everyone was searching for somewhere to eat, whether it was to drown away steep losses at a cheap Chinese buffet, or make another statement of economic status at the shiniest Italian eatery in town. Pride towered above them all, preferring to always look down at people rather than up. The crowd was specked with bad hair cuts and bald heads, men dressed in tacky business suits and woman adorning fanny packs and overpriced print-screened t-shirts. The "Walk" sign blinked on. Every stride commanded attention, each solid click of her heal demanded respect. The people around her kept their distance, almost as if they were afraid to contaminate her being with their filthy touch. Once she arrived to the other side of the street and hooked a left, the crowd voluntarily went the other way. She knew they were nearby; not by the senses in her mind, but because of the obscenely loud music that boomed from an alleyway a block away. Pride watched as an older Mustang flew out into traffic down the street, the bumber nearly scraping the pavement from the weight the frame was holding. She had found her brothers and sisters. |
