Outskirts of Light Capital - Atop a griffon

The blue sea moved freely under the prince's personal griffon as it returned from a sight-seeing trip. As Seraph looked over, he realized how high he really was; waves were packed like sardines from his perspective. Bird flocks were outside the reach of his griffon's legs. At that altitude, he was a few moments from his city, the city of light. Seraph tilted his head up to see the secure entrance below the palace where he and his father, the king, resides. Just one of the many perks of being royalty is the lack of traffic when they travel.

The griffon rose to meet two helpers who guided the griffon into a large stable and helped Seraph off the creature. Seraph nodded at the two to relieve them of standing at his every beck and call. (Seraph is known for being modest in public.) He walked up the stairs to the main hall, then farther up into his bedroom. A full-body mirror is on a wall to his left, but the room is extremely clean, the way he likes it. Seraph went to the mirror and looked at himself. His curly blond hair is to his shoulder blades, his bright silver breastplate has barely a scuff, the mail underneath is uniform, the light blue cloth of his pants has yet to be frayed, and the hilt of his sword is visible over his right shoulder (A prince must be prepared!). Overall, he looked excellent. As a prince, he was forced to look perfect, and frankly he didn't mind. His public demeanor demanded a more... polite mindset, but his true self was a perfectionist

With no wars at the moment, Seraph considered himself free of work aside from representing his nation alongside the king. Dawndrakes are beloved in the Light Kingdom. They're the royal family after all. In other nations, it benefits the Dawndrakes to debut the family in order to show the standard of the Kingdom of Light. It helps with first impressions and lasting appeal. But Seraph himself didn't need to worry about any other nations but the one he's living in. It's hard enough keeping himself perfect, but making sure the world equally respects his kingdom is a job for his father. He's not the king, yet.
