But Zac, you should listen here.
My generation is the generation of Atheists.

At least, where I live, in Maine, at least half the students I know are Atheistic.
And as time passes, we will see more.
:)

A game called Actraiser raised a good point.
If all the evils of this world are cured, religion would cease to exist.
Because everyone was happy and people would have no reason to pray, because they know it will turn out o.k.
As we go through time, we find that through science we can stop diseases, etc. etc.
There are more of us every day.

Anyhow, all I'm saying is that there should ALWAYS be a separation of church and state.
Therefore, politicians should leave their religions at the door, because right now, we're dealing with the hard facts. The next president has a huge shit pile to clean up, and everyone has their own way of using a mop.... or q-tip, in McCain's case.
I think 'Earth changing it's mind about atheists' is asking quite a lot. A little too much, if you ask me. :-/
I can hope there are more atheists coming, lord knows an intelligent planet would be a nice thing, but I wouldn't bet money on it, and I sure as hell wouldn't pray for it. :D

Good point; and I know all about Actraiser, and the wet puddle of effluvia that was the sequel, Soulblazer. I can sum all that text what you just said to one word that theists despise: Crutch.
As long as Captain happy-cloud-man looks down on us, we'll be fine.

Yes, a very large pile. I can see why he was voted in, it seemed that Americans as a nation hated the idea of a black guy in power, but maybe they acknowledged the fact that McCain would be simply more of the same, and they had had enough of that? It's interesting to think about what influenced so many people to vote for him, millions more than voted for the white guy.

Although, Palin? I think that may have killed McCain more than a little. I can not say one positive word about that disturbed little thing.
