Daniel stepped forward but stopped, remembering Richard's reaction to his groveling. He took a step back. Why had the doctor reacted so aversely to him? He looked down at himself. His jumpsuit had lost its ornage hue and now retained a color one could only desribe as poop brown. Fecal matter stained him in various places. His face guard was smeared with dirty water in disgusting streaks. His usually greasy hair was dirty and sweaty, further adding to his look as an insane man. No wonder the doctor seemed to be scared.
