Courtsey of empireonline.co.uk, watch it: Here It looks fabulous... rather like the comic. With all due apologies to Natural and Batman... this is, personally, my most eagerly anticipated film at the moment. I cannot wait (but I'll have to)! |

The Dark Knight was an incredible movie, but I have to say, this looks to blow TDK away. I saw the trailer during The Dark Knight and it looked simply amazing. |

Just a man with a saw.

Saw the trailer from the second row in an IMAX theater. My face nearly melted from the awesomeness. |

I have to say though, this movie might not top TDK, if you mean by Graphics then yes, but storyline, it could be bad, because the original creator of Watchmen did not want to be credited for the movie, and does not want to take part in it either. |

You don't seem to get Alan Moore. He's a bit of a recluse, always has been, hell, even when he was on top of the industry he was rarely ever seen. |

Yeah that is true, but what if this movie is just eye candy and makes Alan Moore's comic series look bad? |

We can only truly judge once the finished film is ready to be seen... but looking at the trailer, they've got the comic book spot on!!! Take a shufty over to empireonline.co.uk, and they do a few frame analyses comparing the film to the book... it's fairly spot on! As for Rorschach's voice... well... when he utters my favourite line of the book, I actually got goosebumps. |

It is definately worth taking a look... very strong book set in a alternative world where costumed vigilantes were widespread but are now illegal... a group of which find themselves being drawn back into a conspiracy when one of their number is murdered. |

I thought the trailer looked very polished, but at the same time, it wasnt the world of Watchmen for me... Watchmen was dystopic, claustrophobic, paranoid and menacing. That trailer looked like it was designed to captivate people with visuals, it was too polished, I hope it doesnt go down the route of 300 which was style over substance. Rorshach and The Comedian did look fn cool tho... |
