I'm fairly sure there are enough Joss Whedon fans here to take the Scientologists on it a pitched battle... but who is salivating at the prospect of Dollhouse? Mind-wiped assassins with the skills imprinted... the highly delectable Eliza Dushku in the title role... So are we thinking this deserves to be up there with the likes of Buffy, Angel and Firefly? Or will it be quickly forgotten like Titan A.E.? |

Up there with the likes of them? Why? Because they're all highly overrated in their mediocrity thanks to mindless fanboys? |

Ok... well... I might be wrong... and feel free to tell me if I am... but I'm guessing... and admittedly it might be a wild guess... but I'm guessing you are not one of the aforementioned Joss Whedon fans? |

I'm not saying his work is horrible or anything, because on the rare instance that I watched Buffy it never gave me a reason to turn it off in disgust of how boring it is. His work was just never as incredible as people make it out to be. His Firefly stuff however, that was just lame. |

I've always enjoyed his shows... Buffy was highly entertaining and I'm currently going through these again, and still think its an excellent series. Angel I caught a bit of, but don't know it that well. Firefly was damn entertaining, and culminated in just a superb film... so I have high hopes for Dollhouse... and not just because it features Eliza Dushku. |

I loves me some Joss Whedon. Firefly, Buffy, Angel, Astonishing X-Men...I could go on. I'll definitely be checking out Dollhouse. You can never ever go wrong with Eliza Dushku. Plus I hear Amy Acker has a supporting role, and I had many a naughty dreams about me, Illyria, and Fred. Fred is a girl for our non-Whedonites. Edited by CM_Phunk, Jul 15 2008, 12:34 AM.

As much as I'm drooling over this, I'm more psyched for Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog. Niel Patrick Harris > you. |

Ah yes, Dr Horrible... that does sound superb!!! Phunk, Amy Acker is indeed in Dollhouse with a recurring role... as Dr Claire Saunders, who looks after the physical wellbeing of the dolls. |

That's awesome. I'll definitely be watching this show then. Dollhouse has a ton of potential. I think my favorite part about it (other than Dushku and Acker) is that every episode can be totally different than the episode before it due to the assignments the mind-wiped are given, so hopefully they can keep things fresh. Note to Fox: Please don't kill anymore of Whedon's shows! I'm not familiar with Dr. Horrible. I'll have to check into that. Edited by CM_Phunk, Jul 17 2008, 08:26 PM.
