I love Del Toro, one of my favourite directors (Blade II is one of my all time favourite comic book movies) and I loved Hellboy so I'm going to try and see this. Cheers for this Acadius! |

Hellboy was a surprising film for me... it wasn't on my radar at all, as I wasn't even aware of the comic book / character. Hearing Vin Diesel was a possibility, turned me off it even more. A friend lent me it on pirate, I watched it with zero expectations, and thought it was frickin' brilliant!!!! As much as I like my comic book films darker then the heart of Dubya... this was light(ish) and funny. I'm very much looking forward to the sequel... though when I'll get to see it, God only knows. |

I didn't even want to see the first, but when I saw it on DVD I was amazed at how good it was. I'm almost as psyched for this as I was for The Incredible Hulk a couple weeks ago. |

Ditto, although I was (and still am) a big fan of Del Toro and also Ron Pearlmen who was awesome as Hellboy. |

I remember seeing the first movie, and thinking it had wonderfull over the top graphics, and a solid plot, i really liked it. I think i might wait for The Golden Army to come out on DVD in the states. |

I think it will be interesting to see a Hellboy movie that is less Mignola's vision and more Del Toro's, because Guillermo is an incredible visual and thematic craftsman. |

He's already proved what a great visionary he is with Pan's Labyrinth... let loose on a Hellboy that's more his vision... well... I'm starting to salivate at the prospect already! |

I think he's making it look too much like Pan's Labrynth and not like it's own movie, which will only hurt the film. |
