I Want A Copy They managed to boil down Batman to the essentials and give us what we've been wanting for years. THIS is what DC should be publishing. |

On the subject of DC published Batman stories, my vote for best ever Batman story has to be Batman: Year One followed by Batman: The Long Halloween and then Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (which has to be the name for the 3rd film). |

The third film is tentatively titled "Shadow of the Bat" To title it "Dark Knight" returns it would A) be too close to "Batman Returns" and also B) it would imply that he went somewhere and there will supposedly be very little time gap story-wise between the two films. |

I really hate that. I'd like to see The Batman as that's now what he is, the protector of Gotham and that's his dominant personality now. Knightfall would also work for me either as Batman: Knightfall or Knightfall on it's own and yes Knightfall would conflict with well known and unrelated Batman story ark to what the movies are achieving. My top Batman story was the cross over with Hitman where Tommy Monaghan pukes over his feet after being punched in the stomach. But seriously, Knightfall is catchy (although we'd all be choking if they did the Azrael storyline), Knights End could work if they were only planning on doing 3 movies. |

Knightfall, in retrospect, was an excellent storyline. Compared to Death of Superman, which was basically the same thing, it's the better of the two arcs. |

Definitely, I was a little disappointed with the Death of Superman. I miss Hitman as well, but the Boys is pretty good fun. I'd love to see a movie version of Hitman Who Dares Wins or 10,000 Bullets. If they did the Knightfall storyline, I reckon they'd confuse the hell out of the audience that wasnt familiar with the books with the Azrael mythos. Although Valley's Batsuit was quite mad looking in that Batman of the Future way. |

The Boys is awesome. It's hard to believe we're already almost twenty issues in. And I think Knightfall would work better as like a 3-part direct-to-video movie in the vein of New Frontier. |
