LEGO Batman: The Videogame; AKA the game I'm most looking forward to

To be honest I doubt they will bring in other characters like Superman... more likely you'll get to use characters like Commissioner Gordon, or Albert, in conjuncture with the main two. In Star Wars you can have up to six or seven characters at a time and have the ability to change between them depending on the situation. The villains seem to be pretty stacked up... it looks like it could be a cracking game!!!

*Sings:* "Albert, Albert, who the fuck is Albert?" ;) Only UK posters will probably get that reference but I couldn't resist!

The Wikipedia page on LEGO Batman has the rumour that Commissioner Gordon, Alfred and Lucius Fox will be playable. It's expected the characters who have a lego model after them will be included into the game (I read elsewhere that the lone exception to that rule was Clayface). 7 characters at a time who can be changed on the fly? In the words of Onslow, nice!

Yeah you know, Albert. That guy with the big white bushy beard... looked like David Bellamy's grandad...

No wait, that was Only Fools and Horses... I always get that confused with Batman for some reason...

I've just finished Lego Star Wars and yet apparently I'm only just over 40% through... you have to go back and do each level on "free play" with a set of characters to unlock other areas... plus buy all the extras and unlock all characters... and play through the bonus levels etc... and then you hit 100%. Lets hope Batman is equally vast a game!!!
