I called elsewhere Silva would beat Jardine in Round One but not that quick (I thought 90 seconds) but I called Penn to stop Sherk in 3 so I feel good about that. I'm about to watch said Penn vs. Sherk fight now having found a streaming site which has it up which I'm looking forward to. So glad Penn beat Sherk and beat him at a canter it sounds. Did you see the show? |

Sherk's game plan sucked, he fought pretty well for the most part. He should have went for more takedowns honestly. I knew Jardine was a fluke.. And him talking shit on a legend like Wanderlei just went all over me, so I was pulling for him hardcore. The Tito vs Machida fight was like watching Snails Hump, it was honestly horrible. But there were some great fights, and the UFC gave us 10 fights last night, I almost Shat myself. |

I disagree, Machida actually put on a hell of a show for once and really impressed me. Sherk/Penn went about how I thought it would, both men being masters on the ground. Very good fight, actually, very close up until the end. |

Best show this year. So glad BJ Penn done but the post match with respect for one another between Penn & Sherk I find very hard to buy, hell it reminded me of the ass kissing you get at the Oscars. Silva's the opposite to Samson isn't he as when the head is shaved, look at world! Whoever that guy was at ringside who mouthed "holy shit" got it right on the money. Brutal KO, and thank fuck foot stomps are not allowed in the UFC as it would have being so much worse which is scary. I'm kinda hoping Griffin beats Rampage (I don't think he can) as seeing Silva vs. Griffin just keep coming forward, beating the shit out of each other is more enticing than seeing Jackson KO'd once more by Silva. I'm guessing Silva vs. Evans and the winner faces Jackson vs. Griffin? |
