Bad News... Greatest mockumentary / rockumentary ever, and pre-dated Spinal Tap by a year.

"I could play "Stairway to Heaven" when I was twelve. Jimmy Page didn't actually write it until he was twenty-two. I think that says quite a lot."

Big fan of horror and I watched 28 Weeks Later thanks to Sky and I think I prefer it to 28 Days Later, which is one of the rare examples when a sequel is better than an original film.

I loved both, but I agree, 28 Weeks Later is intense from the very beginning.

I'm going out on a limb because it hasn't actually come out yet, but everyone, go see Step Brothers.

It looks funnier than Talledega Nights, and possibly the vastly superior Anchorman (though I won't be surprised if it doesn't hit that mark in non-stop humor).

Did you mean the Comic Strip Presents The Bad News Tour? This is a recommend a movie thread mate, not an episode of a comedy series largely ignored because it was mostly $hite.

Bad News Tour was good, but nowhere near the comedy quality of Spinal Tap. And that's why people remember This is Spinal Tap and everyone remembers the Comic Strip for Five Go Mad in Dorset... ;oD

Back on topic: I recommend Tales From the Crypt Demon Knight, it's a good beer and popcorn flick!

It's a comedy film... albeit one made for TV... and it $hits on the Tap...

"Why did you get a tatoo saying Individual on your neck?"

"Well... cos everyone else got one."

Now stop splitting heirs... which incidentally is a rubbish movie that is not recommended. I strongly recommend Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, which is superb. One day I might get my DVD back... ;oD

I think the plague is affecting your mind Ace... Hahahaahahahah... I can't help but think of Rimmer in Red Dwarf wanting to be called Ace...

You've got Eternal Sunshine mate, I gave it back when we gave back Coupling series 4... Or did I?

Film recommendation: The Monster Squad, watch it before it's remade!

I've got series 4 of Coupling, but not Eternal Sunshine... did you ever watch it by the way?

Road to Perdition... watched it again recently and it is superb!!!

Eternal Sunshine is vastly overrated, weird and offbeat, but that doesn't make it good. It's an interesting film, but not 1/10 as great as people make it out to be.

LOVE Monster Squad as a nostalgia film from my childhood. It's not quite The Goonies or Lost Boys, but it's still a great cult film.

I watched Tank Girl today, it's campy and corny, but it's a ton of fun for what it is...

...and has one of the best soundtracks ever.

Best of the Best.

Hell yes this film is badass in it's 80's action movie cheese.
