Welcome to RingKingsRadio Forums. To ensure that everyone's posting experience is an enjoyable one, please read and adhere to the following (and fairly sensible) rules. 1. No Spam - We define spam as a post that has nothing to do with the topic it's posted in. There is a dedicated forum for spam, and it can be found here. Spam in any other area of the board will result in a warning. 2. No Flaming - Don't do it. However heated a discussion maybe become, do not resort to insulting your fellow members, as it will resort in a warning. 3. No Trolling - Don't follow around a member you dislike in an attempt to piss them off, because it will result in you getting warned. 4. Don't just start a topic - Have a look around the sub-forum you are in before you make the topic. If there is already a thread based on what you're about to post, then use that thread instead of making a new one. If you do so, we'll close the topic with an explanation as to why, and link you to the already made topic. If we've closed your topic, its been closed for a reason, so don't make it again. If you make it again, then you will be warned for it. 5. Signature limits - You are allowed TWO images in your signature NO LARGER than 400x400 and no more than 5 lines of text. NO moving images; they slow the board down in loading, and no everyone has super high speed internet to cope with them. If your signature breaks the limits, you will be PMed and asked to change it. If you fail to do so, we will change it for you. If you change it back, we will warn you and change it again. 6. Advertising - You MAY advertise your forum/blog/website within your signature, but making specific posts to advertise or sending advertisement by PM is NOT allowed, and will result in a warning OR a banning. Depending on the case, the staff will review the situation. 7. Respect - Lovely word, make sure you use it. Everyone is entitled to voice their opinion, so please show everyone the same amount of respect as you would expect yourself when posting, even if you think their opinion is completely and utterly retarded. 8. Drama - No one likes it, so don't create it. If its obvious you've come onto the forum just to cause shit, you WILL get banned faster than you can say "drama". 9. Nudity and Porn - Zetaboard has a strict No Nudity policy which we must adhere to. If you post nudity, you WILL be suspended for a period of 24 hours. Posting it a 2nd time will result in a ban, and there's no arguement at all on that one. If you want porn, there are plenty of other sites for that shit, so don't bring it here. 10. Warnings - Breaking the rules will result in a warning, and we keep a tab on all warnings in the board room. The first time your warning meter hits 100%, you will be suspended for a period of 24 hours. The second time it hits 100%, you will be suspended for a period of 7 days. The third time it hits 100%, you will be banned from the site, no ifs ands or buts. You MAY be allowed back to the board after a certain time, and each case will be considered by the staff. However, warnings have an expiration period of 2 months FROM YOUR LAST WARNING and the staff will keep on top of these. If you feel you have been unfairly warned, you can plead your case to the administrators and we will consider it, but it will only be considered if we think it MAY have been unfair, so don't come bitching about every warning you get, because you will be told there to go. 11. Gimmick Accounts - Quite frankly, they're a waste of time, so don't bother. If you're banned from the site and you make another account, we will IP ban you. 12. Hotlinking - Don't do it. Many websites have an anti-hotlinking software in place on their images which brings up images that may get the board shut down. If you want to post an image, save it to your computer then re-host it on Photobucket or Imageshack. 13. Respect the staff - On this forum, we own your soul, so show us a level of respect, because we can ban you  14. Decisions are final - Once a ruling has been made, it sticks, so once you're told "end of it", don't continue to complain about it, because you'll be banned. 15. Being made a staff member - Occasionally we'll promote members to the staff, and these people will have shown a level of maturity and dedication to EARN these spots. Going around with "so and so for admin" or "so and so for mod" in your sigs or your posts will NOT help your case, because let's face it, its not exactly mature. 16. Have Fun - We're all here to have a laugh, so don't post like you have a stick up your ass. |
