Across the land locked nation of Khamag Mongol election boxes were being set up for people to vote. As few people lived in cities it was an administrative nightmare. Most people lived in Gers, tent like homes, and moved across the open planes with animals they hunted year in and year out. The elections were for the The State Great Khural, the parliament of the nation, which had 89 seats. Although any one could form a party only three parties currently held seats, and onlt five had ever held a seat. De Facto the nation was a two party system.

The Peoples Party of Khamag Mongol currently had 44 seats, one short of a majority. They are a left wing party that belived in social democracy and partly socialists. Many belived that the nation needed to become more socialist to gian allies in the outer world. They believe in higher taxes but more government funding in health, education and other areas.

The party with 43 seats is the Democratic Party. They are a right winged party that belives in liberalisim and economic liberalisim. The parties main goal is continued transition into an open democratic republic.

The Civic Will Party has two seats, but can swing the vote in legislation. Center with a Liberal conservatism agenda they. They are an old arty that has lost much of it's support.
