Tagedy struck today of the Southern Cost of Courlund as a Tsunami struck. Only two such Tsunamis have everh struck Courlund but this one was even larger at 83 ft high seconds before the wave hit. The epicenter of the devastation was the newly created Capital city, and economic center, of Courlund. With a population of just over 8,000,000. However the smaller city, population 35,000 Al Kahrj, was also hit.

Al Kahrj has been destroyed totally. Little to nothing is left of the Gothic city and over 5,000 people had been killed and a futher 12,000 are missing or injured. However the city of Haifia was hit worse. The 8,000,000 population capital has lost over an eighth of it's population with 1,001,000 people have been declared dead, officially making the disaster the worst in Courlundish history.

The city itself has also been decimated. The financial capital of the city has also been hit. The State Bank of Courlund, and all of the financial vaults contents have been lost (that alone was a loss of over $2,000,000,000.) However over 40 bank buildings have also been destroyed and every one has been damaged. The Courlund Stock Exchange building has also been eradicated.

The river Sarah, the largest in the nation, has also burst adding to the water. The dead bodies seem to include all memebrs of the Socialist Council and all but a handful of the Knesset. The Knesset Building, Sarah Hall, has also been destroyed. This leaves no clear leader in command of the nation.

Ecconomist have projected a massive loss in the economy, possiblky placing the nation in recession for the next decade.
