Courlund Central News Rina Yakira a member of the Socialist Council for the Preservation and the Governing of the State of Courlund announced today that the Capital City of Courlund would be changed and the government would move from Acre to Haifia. It comes as the King has been forced into the North before the Knesset will set a bill to abolish the monarchy and offer him a pension and citizenship if he will abdicate and give up his, and any of his heirs, right to the throne of Courlund. Reporter Yonni Palev was sent to interview Rina yesterday in the Knesset palace, the last day the Knesset would sit in the palace. "Mrs. Yakira. First of all thank you foe giving us this interview today. So let's get straight to the point. Why is the government moving?" She smiled, sincere but practised, "Well Yonni the Socialist Council feels that Acre, and the Kneset Palace, is to intouch with the old world. This is the seat of power of the monarchs for over 1,000 years. It was from here that the power was stripped from the Knesset and it will be in Haifia that we make a new start." "My next question is Why Haifia? Why not Lod or Larad?" The reporter asked. "Well that is simple," she replied. "Haifia has been the financial capital of Courlund for the last twenty years, it is also situated on the river Sarah which is where our nation arose, it is the second largest city in the nation and it has a much newer feel. In Acre you can tell how old the city is but in Haifia everything is new." "So where will the Knesset be seated? And what about the Socialist Council?" He asked again. "By the river Sarah is a building called River Hall, it has five halls inside. One, the largest, will be used by the Knesset. Another will be used by the Socialist Council. It is very modern and looks like nothing else in the world. It is situated on the river and I am sure it will become a place visitors will flock to." "I would also like to announce a new building plan across Courlund for new and ingenius designs all over the nation. New buildings will be erected everywhere." |
