Dear fellow Renatians (sorry, I had to find some name to adress you all and I wasn't really creative), For the past weeks (months?) we didn't have a very active cartographer. The former cartographer, DS, is really busy in real life, and he had to resign as cartographer. I want to thank him for his work as cartographer for the past two years, especially now that witnessed with my own eyes how much work it is to be cartographer. And it is not only that, updating the populations is a hell of job as well - and DS uses a relatively simple system.... In the past week, me and DS extracted all files for cartography to my computer so that I can edit the maps and post them up on Renatia. That wasn't easy, as most of the files were extremely large. I am still an unexperienced cartographer, and sadly, I don't have much time either. I will however, update the maps at least once a week, and update populations at least once every two weeks. Earlier, people have been talking about adding extra plots, or making the plots smaller or even create a whole other continent or even a new planet. Let me be clear about this: No. I know, it is perhaps not a very popular statement, but I really think we should be happy with the maps and system that we have now. It would cost huge amounts of work, patience and time to do any such thing like even increasing the amount of plots. For this reason, I will keep the populations, plots and maps as they are. Especially in these times of low activity. I planned to begin updating the maps and populations this weekend. If you really want to know what your pop would be for your plot claim which has not been added yet, you can always PM me and ask me to estimate the pop size for your claimed plots. I hope to have informed you well. - the new cartographer, Nentsia |

I agree with your choice about plots sizes (but don't tell anyone as I do not want to be killed) |

*pulls out a knife* ![]() No, it's fine if it's too much work. Thank you for volunteering to do this, Nents.

I know its perhaps a little bit on the late side but in the past I have had cartography experience for various roleplay sites, including making a few (probably many) maps from scratch. If you want a hand I am more than willing to help cover some of the smaller continents? |

The maps are great as they are, we need to focus on the quality of roleplay instead of focusing on how populous your nation is or how the maps look. |

I tried to edit it, but couldn't. I can't get rid of the number, if I paint over it it looks like a huge blot (zoomed sown, all the pixels are differnet colours.) Sorry, I can't. |
