![]() Election Concluded; Worthington new PM Tawasia’s parliamentary elections were concluded today, with the People’s Party of Tawasia winning its expected victory, led by Prime Minister-in-waiting Oliver Worthington. After winning the PPT’s leadership election last week by a wide margin over his two opponents, former Minister of Defence Takumi Ishikawa and Member of Parliament Zaida Jones, Worthington has consolidated his power base and is in full control of the PPT. Worthington has stated that he will continue to maintain former PM Fromberg’s general policies, leading Tawasia much the same way that she did in her five terms as prime minister. ![]() Prime Minister Worthington Edited by Cowland5, 19 Feb 2011, 02:20 AM.
