![]() Ненецкий Объединенных Телевизионный Канал (Nenetskiĭ Obʺedinennyh Televizionnyĭ Kanal) United Nentsian Television Channel [OOC: this message is under strict media censorship] Foreign Journalists arrested by the ISB By Katinka Inozemtseva (Picture taken in the Lalykin Prison Facility) VLADIMIRSK - ISB Executive Commissar Sergey Tomashevich confirmed this morning that several foreign news crews in Nentsia have been arrested by the ISB. According to Tomashevich, the news crews have been spreading foreign propaganda in Nentsia in an attempt to undermine the current system and good governance of Supreme Commissar Yermolayev. Tomashevich did not want to release any information about the identities of the journalists, but he did say where they come from. One news crew is from Courlund, an other news crew is from Aus'tiana. Both news crews visited hard working Nentsians to interrogate them about supposed ''crimes'' committed by our government. The interrogated Nentsians reported to the UVB that they were harassed by foreign journalists who tried to make them believe in foreign propaganda. The ISB saw this as a serious attempt to undermine the Nentsian Empire, according to article 39, and arrested both news crews. The suspects claim to have been working on a documentary called ''S. I. Yermolayev; the true man behind the face''. In this documentary, the journalists accuse our government of widespread extrajudicial killings and deportations of innocent people. This is shameless propaganda. The truth is on our side. All enemies of the Empire, those who seek to destroy the future of our children - they are the ones who are being punished by Yermolayev. Not innocent people. The journalists risk 7 years of penal labor in the Katorga. Edited by Nentsia, 8 Nov 2010, 03:36 PM.

[OOC: this message is under strict media censorship] Annual Federovist Party Congress has begun By Katinka Inozemtseva ![]() VLADIMIRSK - Today the 51AE Federovist Party Congress began in Vladimirsk. 6285 Federovist Party delegates from all over Nentsia have come to our capital for this congress. The Congress is held at least once every two years. The Congress counts as a legislative body of the Federovist Party, to which all party executives are accountable. In 52AE, the Congress will assemble again to elect a new Central Board of the Federovist Party. This year however, the Congress will review the reports from the Central Board, and demand some changes if needed. Analysts think the Congress will last three days. During the congress, the congress will have to review all policies of the Federovist Party of the past year. The expulsion of Grigory Chernin from the party will certainly lead to some debate, but not too much as most of the Chernin-supporters have been accused of political subversion and deported to the Katorga. It is expected that more supporters of Chernin will be discovered at this Congress, and they will then be arrested as well by the UVB. The UVB has employed over 10 000 UVB troops to secure Alexander Hall, where the Congress is held. UVB General Commissar Denisovsky will hold a speech at the Congress as well. This year, all the eyes are aimed at Supreme Secretary of the Presidium of the Nentsian United Federovist Party; Sergey Yermolayev. It remains unknown what the future will look like for Nentsia, as Sergey Yermolayev has already announced that he won't remain the leader of Federovist Nentsia for too long. Yermolayev stated that he is doing the dirty job, so that someone can succeed him later. The current purges in Nentsia are part of that dirty job. Nobody knows whether Yermolayev will announce his retirement or not. Experts believe that Yermolayev will resign as Supreme Commissar (prime minister) of Nentsia, but that he will remain the de facto leader of the Federovist Party. This would release Yermolayev of some work pressure, but he would still be the de facto ruler of Nentsia. |

[OOC: this message is under strict media censorship] Yermolayev spoke to the Congress By Katinka Inozemtseva ![]() VLADIMIRSK - Behind closed doors, Supreme Secretary of the NOFP, Sergey Yermolayev, spoke to the 6000 party delegates at the Federovist Party Congress today. Yermolayev's speech took four hours. In his speech, Yermolayev addressed the conflict with the Islamic Empire, the political purge and the 'no-mercy' campaign which was launched in 49AE. Yermolayev assured the Congress that he will do everything to avoid an escalation of the dispute between the Islamic Empire and Nentsia. Yermolayev stated that the issue isn't worth arguing for with the IE. Yermolayev also firmly defended his 'No-mercy campaign', which is aimed at crushing all political, social and religious opposition to the Federovist Party. ‘’The Federovist Party is the "highest servant of the state" and exercises absolute power to provide for the general welfare of the population. This model of government proposes that all the power of the state must be directed toward this end, and rejects codified, statutory constraints upon the Party's absolute power. As the absolute ruling Federovist Party is said to be charged with the public good, and implicitly infallible by right of appointment, even critical, loyal opposition to the rule of the party is a crime against the state. The concept of loyal opposition is incompatible with these politics. As public dissent is forbidden, it inevitably becomes secret, which, in turn, is countered with political repression via a secret police.’’ Yermolayev did, however, announced that the Purge was nearly completed, and that a majority of all hostile elements within the Nentsian society had been eliminated. Yermolayev said that the Purge was nearing its end. At the end of his speech, Yermolayev announced he will resign as the Supreme Commissar (prime minister) of Nentsia. Yermolayev announced that the work pressure is too much, and that his administrative-executive work as head of government and his work as administrative-executive head of the Party is very hard to combine. Yermolayev will therefore resign as head of government. Yermolayev has nominated Igor Patushinsky to become the new Supreme Commissar of the Nentsian Tsardom. Our beloved Yermolayev will remain our leading man for our Empire, as he will remain the most influential person in the Federovist Party. Igor Patushinsky is a member of the Central Board of the NOFP, and he also worked for the Party as a political official who revised agricultural corporations whether they followed Federovist policy. Patushinsky, says Yermolayev, is one of the hard working party officials who has made the Voronevshchina-policy a great success. It remains unknown when Patushinsky will be formally appointed as Supreme Commissar. |
