![]() Revolucionaria Nacional de Televisión National Revolutionary Television Comandante Roberto Amador brings state visit to Vertadoría By Oscar Almeida Vazquez ![]() PUERTO GUÁLTERA - Comandante Roberto Amador from the Tzetxuhoani ''Frente Murrietista Revolucionario'' visited our Republic today. He arrived by boat in Puerto Guáltera this noon, just like our President Ernesto Carrasco who returned from exile to Vertadoría in 50AE. Between 42 and 50AE, revolutionary leader Ernesto Carrasco and others lived in Tzetxuhoan in exile and fought alongside with the FMR in what would become the Tzetxuhoani 48AE Revolution. Today, Comandante Roberto Amador, the speaker of the FMR, brought a visit to Vertadoría to express his solidarity with the Cincuenta Revolution of Vertadoria. Comandante Amador was received as a hero by especially the indigenous people of Vertadoria. besides latinos, the Vertadorian population consists largely of mestizos, Indians, blacks and Mulattos. The FMR and its struggle are very popular among the ethnic minorities of Vertadoria, as the FMR claims to fight for the rights and recognition of all minorities, who are together the majority. Comandante Amador also met our minister of foreign affairs today, Alejandro Cordoba. Cordoba counts as one of the earliest revolutionary guerilleros to have joined Ernesto Carrasco. Tomorrow, Comandante Amador will travel to Santa María where he will meet Comandante Ernesto Carrasco. It is said that the two revolutionary leaders and guerilleros wish to bring a ''revolutionary way of politics'' to the international political stage of Renatia. Some analysts predict that Vertadoria and Tzetxuhoan will begin supporting and financing rebels and revolutionary movements throughout Renatia. Before 42AE, Ernesto Carrasco also personally participated in numerous foreign revolutions. |

Rodrigo de Santana Trial has Begun By Federico Hugo de Diaz SANTA MARÍA - Today was the first day of the criminal trial of Rodrigo de Santana. Rodrigo de Santana, the Vertadorian dictator from 42-50AE has to stand trial for multiple crimes, including crimes against humanity. Santana and 78 other suspects will be prosecuted for their suspected involvements in the crimes committed in Vertadoria between 42 and 50AE. Santana would be the only one who would stand trial before the CoN, but Comandante Ernesto has lost his confidence in the CoN. Therefore, Santana will have his trial in Vertadoria. Santana is accused of politicide, crimes against humanity, illegal drugs trafficking, illegal weapons trafficking, abuse of power, corruption, high treason, illegal human trafficking, leading a criminal organization, fraud, extortion, contract killing, kidnapping, undermining of the Vertadorian constitution and grand theft of state property. Rodrigo de Santana risks death sentence for his crimes. Santana appeared today in the court as a broken and devastated man. Just one year ago, he was the richest and most influential man in Vertadoria, perhaps even the most influential drug baron of Renatia. Now he lives is a small cellar in the prison, awaiting the humiliation of his trial. During the regime of Santana, nearly 50 000 people disappeared. Most of them were members of the PURSV, their families, journalists, judges and trade unionists. Mass demonstrations were held before the reinforced court building, as thousands of people wanted to demonstrate their hatred towards Santana. In court, Santana refused to say a word today. Some of his closest partners will testify against Santana. The trial of Hernán Machado will begin soon as well. Machado is held responsible for massive political repressions between 42 and 45AE, the first years after the Santana Coup. Machado's orders resulted in numerous massacres and bloodbaths during the many demonstrations and protests. Machado was responsible for maintaining civil order under the rule of Santana. Machado is also accused of contract killing for the drug cartels that worked for Santana. Machado would have employed paramilitary death squads to eliminate rival drug cartels. Tomorrow, the trial of Santana will continue. Then the prosecutors will continue to sum up their accusations against Santana. Next week, Santana will have the chance to pledge guilty, or not guilty. |
