![]() Tourism in the Southern Islands (Known outside of Vaduz as the Vaduz Archipelago.) has soared recently due to the sub-tropical climate, beautiful beaches and stunning natural wildlife. Lieutenant-General Claus Maximilian, Governor of the Southern Half of the nation, reported that the increased tourism has allowed the southern economy to match that of the Northern Economy. Although the Southern Islands have a large area than the entire continental Vaduz they have a lower population. The wildlife is an added draw to the tourism with turtles, dolphins and whales coming at different times of the year it means tourism does not usually dry up during the year, except the last two months and the first month of the year when the weather is not that great. The Vaduz Archipelago was voted Renatias third best tourist destination, a huge drop from 17th six years ago and 23rd four years ago. This has been put down to the Prime Minsters increased funds in commerce and development. |
