![]() ''Then Article 39 has hereby been adopted by the Supreme State Duma'' said a man, the Speaker of the Supreme State Duma. A 190 people were applauding, 110 people were shouting and yelling. People began to leave their seats, to walk over to the other side of the parliament chamber. Fights broke out between supporters of Article 39, and opponents. The opponents came from the NKP, the SDRP and the LDPPE. The supporters were from the Federovist Party and the All-Nentsian National Congress. Article 39 was a law proposal drawn in the boardrooms of the Federovist Party. The Central Board of the Federovist Party had brought up the proposal in a party congress, where it was accepted by 99% of the voters. The party members who voted against were expelled from the party a few days later by the General Committee of the Federovist Party. The law proposal was now adopted by the Supreme State Duma as well. But it was a very controversial law. ISB-VV troops, comparable to gendarmerie, tried to restore order in the parliament. A few hundred parliament members were punching and kicking each other, throwing with chairs and glass. Article 39: ‘Enemies of the Nentsian stability and unity’ are individuals, or groups of individuals who are preparing, or have carried out, actions that are aimed at undermining, weakening or overthrowing the Nentsian authorities, economy, social structure or the national security. This article might seem relatively innocent, but it is certainly not in a country like Nentsia. With an untransparant government, censored media and a very powerful secret service, this article is nothing more but a weapon in the hands of Vladimirsk. A weapon to suppress political opposition. 5 days later In the cities, all over Nentsia, troops from the ISB are raiding homes. It is early in the morning when men wearing uniforms of the Internal Troops of the Commissariat for National Security kick in doors, search houses and arrest many, many people. Entire families are being arrested. This is ISB Order No. 00625. The ISB has been preparing this for months. When Article 39 would come into effect, the ISB-VV troops would carry out mass arrests. There were lists made, containing the names of hundreds of thousands of people who could be considered as 'enemies' by Article 39. This morning, the first few hundred people were arrested by the ISB. Most of them are people who have ties with civil rights movements. They have participated in human rights demonstrations against Yermolayev, and now they are considered ''Enemies of the Nentsian Unity and Stability''. The prisoners will be taken to special ISB facilities, where they will be interrogated until they confess. After confession, the prisoners will be sent to the Katorga, penal labor camps in the north. Some might be sentenced to death for high treason. Some independent newspapers and media stations reported on the human rights violations committed by Yermolayev and the Federovist Party. But the big part of the media, the media controlled by Federovist Party members and supporters, only reported that the ISB had arrested a few hundred political extremists. The independent media that did report about ''human rights violations'' did not even realize in how much danger they were. Article 39 was a long article, containing lots of paragraphs. One of the paragraphs said: ''Any kind of help to Enemies of the Nentsian Unity and Stability strives to overthrow it''. With Article 39, even journalists who supported the political prisoners had the risk to arrested as well by the ISB. UVB Управление внутренней безопасности Directorate of Internal Security The Central Board of the Nentsian United Federovist Party has agreed on the establishment of a new directorate for the Commissariat of Internal Affairs: the Directorate of Internal Security. The ISB, Imperatorskaya Sluzhba Bezopasnosty, is fully occupied with protecting our Empire from terrorism, organized crime, subversion and other elements that threaten the government, the society and the economy. Therefore, the Federovist Party has ordered Commissar of Internal Affairs, Ivan Opekushin, to set up an organization that is dedicated to the suppression of political subversion that threatens to undermine the Nentsian authorities, system and society. The Directorate of Internal Security (UVB), will have the controversial task to monitor political subversion, extremism and other political individuals, groups and actions aimed at undermining, weakening and overthrowing the Nentsian authorities. Vladimir Fyodorovich Denisovsky has been assigned as executive director of the UVB. The UVB will start out with 15 000 agents. There will be another 20 000 troops assigned to the Gvardiya, the paramilitary wing of the UVB. The Gvardiya will have its own prison facilities where suspected political subversives can be interrogated, for as long as necessary. Gvardiya officers' authority goes above any municipal, metropolitan, regional or State police officer. The UVB headquarters will be in Vladimirsk, the building is right next to the ISB headquarters. A few thousand ISB officers will be transferred to the UVB. A few thousand ISB-VV troops will be re-assigned to the UVB-Gvardiya. |

![]() UVB bureau in Vladimirsk 8.30 AM Five hundred men in brown-green uniforms, wearing ushanka hats with UVB insignia, were lined up. One man was inspecting their uniforms. It was Commissar 1st Rank Evgheny Mashkin. ''Comrades - Gvardiya Officers, Gvardyeĭtsy! I have received the order last evening. An order coming from Commissar Opekushin, head of the Commissariat of Internal Security. Commissar Opekushin tells me that there are some journalists within our Empire that have expressed their solidarity with the 1238 political subversives that were arrested on the grounds of ISB Order No. 00625. Yesterday, our ISB brothers arrested 1238 civil rights activists who were suspected of being involved in subversive activities against the Nentsian Empire. Comrade Commissar Opekushin sent me the UVB Order No. 00017: All journalists who have expressed their compassion for the suspected and arrested subversives, have abused the media with the aim to undermine the Nentsian Empire. They are to be seen as subversive enemies of the Nentsian Empire. The UVB, the new political police, has been assigned to deal with this political threat that seeks to destroy our society. The arrested journalists are to be interrogated. Those who confess their crimes will be sent to the Katorga labor camps. The journalists that don't admit their crimes within three days will be executed as traitors of the Emire.'' Commissar 1st Rank Mashkin looked up from the paper he was reading from. He stared at the tense but concentrated faces of his men, the Gvardyeĭtsy. The Gvardiya was a paramilitary police unit, controlled by the UVB. After UVB Order No. 00017 was given by Commissar Mashkin, the men went to their vehicles. All over Vladimirsk, journalists who criticized the government for arresting 1200 political opponents were lifted from their beds by the Gvardiya units. Each unit was under the command of an UVB officer. The journalists were physically abused, their homes were searched by the UVB and their computers and papers were confiscated. Wifes and kids were put under strict surveillance of the UVB, to find out whether they shared the ideas of their arrested husband. In the next few days, UVB bureaus all over Nentsia received Order No. 00017. In total, 896 professional and amateur journalists were arrested by the UVB. They were all brought to the Lalykin Prison Facility, where they would be brutally interrogated by UVB officers. The rifles were already being prepared for mass executions. ![]() Ненецкий Объединенная Федеровистическая партия ![]() Alexander Hall, Vladimirsk 8000 members of the Federovist Party from all over Nentsia were present at the Alexander Hall to represent their local party department in this congress. This Congress was especially to decide what path Supreme Commissar Yermolayev had to follow, now that he won 183 seats in the Supreme State Duma elections. With Article 39, the government of Yermolayev had received a lot of criticism from the people and some independent media. The international community remained apathetic to the thousands of political arrests in Nentsia of the past weeks. Supreme Commissar Yermolayev knew why that was. The democratic alliances in Renatia needed Nentsia as their friend in the struggle against fascism and imperialism. The fascist nations did not bother about human rights in Nentsia at all. For those who have not realized: Nentsia has become a ''totalitarian democracy'', a system with lawfully elected representatives while the citizens have no participation in the decision-making progress, except for voting once in a while. And the voting is heavily manipulated as well. This Congress of the Federovist Party, was nothing but a show. The congress had attracted some local party secretaries who want to express their concerns regarding human rights at this congress. None of them knew that they were in danger. Once they made their opposition clear about arresting political enemies, the General Committee would accuse the opposition of sabotage and undermining the Federovist Party and thus the Nentsian Empire. In a small room, next to the grand conference theatre, UVB troops were waiting. When the opposition was accused by the General Committee, the UVB troops would storm in and arrest all 'dissidents' within the Federovist Party. It was Yermolayev's own plan. He called it ''political cleansing''. After the political opposition within the party had been eliminated, the party would vote unanonimously for continuing the political cleansing of Nentsia. For this move, Yermolayev relied fully on the General Committee of the Federovist Party. The General Committee is a special section within the Party. Its members consist of five people, handpicked by the President of the Party (Yermolayev). They form a supervisory organ within the party, supervising all governing and decision making processes within the party. It is their task to protect the party from dissidents and damaging itself. Introduction The introduction was done by Grigory Chernin, chairman of the Central Board of the Federovist Party, which is the legislative body of the party between each congress. Grigory Chernin is known as a xenophobe, pan-Slavist, conservative, patriotic and anti-semitic hard-liner within the Federovist Party. After his speech, Supreme Commissar Yermolayev, president of the Federovist Party, gave his speech. Yermolayev received a very long applause, before he could continue. By most party members, Yermolayev was seen as a god. Sergey Yermolayev managed to gain an absolute majority in the State Duma, in such a divided nation. Few of the members realized that Yermolayev and his clique had heavily frauded the elections. Manipulation, fraud and intimidation had won the elections for Yermolayev. Heated discussions After the opening of the Congress, Gavril Nazimko came forward to express his disgust of the political repression committed by Yermolayev with Article 39. Nazimko represented a local party secretariat in the very south of Nentsia. He was one of the 679 attending members who opposed Article 39. As Nazimko represented those 679 members, he ended up in a fierce debate with some prominent party members such as Ivan Borisenko and Boris Bugayev. Eventually, Sergey Yermolayev threw in his weight and began to rant about the 679 member who opposed article 39. After Yermolayev was done talking, nobody was allowed to make a statement anymore. It was lunch time. After lunch After lunch, there was obviously a lot of tension. It was time to vote. All 8000 members had to make their opinion clear by voting about Article 39. The question was: Should Supreme Commissar Yermolayev continue with political repression to protect Nentsia from politically subversive thought? Eventually, 231 members had the guts to vote 'NAY'. At that point, Ivan Borisenko, chairman of the General Committee accused the 231 members of dissent and proposed to expell them from the Federovist Party. It took only one hour, and the motion was accepted by the Congress. Of course, nobody dared to vote against it. So except for the dissidents, everybody in the congress voted for expelling the dissidents from the party. Grigory Chernin declared that the motion had been enacted. At that point, the 231 dissidents rose up from their seats, shouting and screaming. Of course they were angry. They felt they had been betrayed. It was indeed a set up. This congress was used to detect even the slightest opposition within the party, and then the large majority in the congress was basically used to whipe out the entire opposition. As the dissidents expressed their fury, General Committee chairman Borisenko accused them of sabotage, of undermining the Federovist Party. ''These dissidents, these traitors, are here to undermine and weaken the authority of the Federovist government under Yermolayev. They are political enemies of Nentsia - a threat to the Empire.!'' he shouted. At that point, 40 armed men wearing greyish brown UVB uniforms entered the congress hall. They came to remove the dissidents from the congress, and the dissidents were officially under arrest based on Article 39: they were suspected of carrying out actions aimed at undermining and weakening the Nentsian authorities and national security. 231 dissidents were hereby seen as Enemies of the Empire. The dissidents were loaded on several trucks. One truck, contained the publically well known dissidents, such as Gavril Nazimko. He was taken to the UVB headquarters in Vladimirsk. Nazimko would soon be used as subject for a large show trial. The other 219 dissidents were taken to a deserted farm, 340 kilometers away from Vladimirsk. There, UVB officers ordered their troops to execute all the dissidents. 219 dissidents were shot in the head, their bodies dumped in a mass grave. Gavril Nazimko and some others were tortured the entire night long by UVB officers. After 2 hours of torture, most of them had confessed they tried to sabotage the Nentsian Empire. But the torture sessions carried on all night long, as Sergey Yermolayev had ordered. |

![]() "Pravoslavie, Samoderzhavie y Narodnost" said a deep cold male voice that penetrated ones soul. It was Tsar Alexander I, dressed in a lavish uniform, wearing a golden mask to conceal his burned face. It had been a long time ago since Tsar Alexander made his last public appearance. Nobody knew why that was, but I can tell you that Alexander had some psychological health problems. Some insiders predict that Tsar Alexander suffers from a violent mind that will drag him into his own death. His 10-years old son, Nikolaj, is already being prepared to succeed the Tsar. Not that Alexander is dying or anything, but experts say that Alexander will die at a relatively young age. Since Alexander rose to power in 33 AE, there had been a struggle between the political class and the imperial family. The question always remained: what should the role of the Tsar be in the political system? How much power should the Tsar have? Under social- and liberal democratic governments of Kovacheva and Nenetskin, Alexander's powers were always limited. But the Federovist Party, and especially Supreme Commissar Yermolayev, were very proud to serve the Tsardom of Nentsia. The Tsar, the Church and Nentsia meant everything to them. Both Tsar Alexander and Supreme Commissar Yermolayev are impressive figures. They are charismatic, and they often depict themselves together on pictures, posters and stamps. The Tsar is always depicted with the face he had before he seriously burned his face. Before that, he was a handsome man. Now, all we see of the Tsar is a golden mask. Today, Tsar Alexander gave his blessings to the three components of the triad, proposed in the Supreme State Duma: Orthodoxy Autocracy Nationality These components would form the fundament of the new Nentsian state ideology. Since the fall of Communism, Nentsia has not had a state ideology anymore. Supreme Commissar Yermolayev argued that a state ideology not only limits the chance of extremism and subversion, but it also helps establishing a national unity that Nentsia is so desperately looking for. The opposition is against the adoption of a state ideology, arguing that the state ideology is in favor of centralized power in the hands of the Tsar, the Church and the Federovist Party. The Federovists in their turn say that the Tsar and religion are a part of the Nentsian identity, and that the Federovist Party is the only neutral political party in Nentsia which is capable enough to protect and serve Nentsian national interests, thus justifying the authority of the Federovist Party.

UVB Order No. 00067 Issued by Commissar I.Y. Opekushin Signed by General Commissar 1st Rank V. Denisovsky At 7 AM this morning, all Raion and Gubernya bureaus (local and regional) from the UVB received UVB Order No. 00067, issued by Commissar of Internal Affairs Opekushin, signed by UVB General Commissar 1st Rank Denisovsky. The order was given after the adoption of the All-Nentsian Imperial Declaration of National Unity, which clearly stated that all school children in Nentsian had to be educated by their schools in the spirit of the new State Ideology. Demonstrations against the adoption of a state ideology were still going on in the capital, and it would not be long before the UVB Gvardiya troops were assigned to crush the demonstrations. But for now, the UVB was assigned to deal with school teachers who didn't obey Imperial Declaration. Local UVB bureaus in the entire empire reported about roughly 300 teachers who did not teach the children in the spirit of the state ideology. Chief executive Denisovsky added 12000 extra teachers to that list, to make a strong statement to the other teachers in the country: this is serious! Teach the children in the spirit of Orthodoxy, Autocracy and Nationality! Or else... As the order was sent, UVB troops went out all over the country, even to the most remote villages, to arrest the teachers that were on the list, which was mostly randomly decided. In total, 11 761 teachers all over Nentsia were arrested that week. They were all brought to the Lalykin Prison Facility, a special facility where they would be tortured by the UVB until they confessed. Those who did not confess were executed in a forest, not far from Lalykin. By the end of the week, 2652 teachers had been executed and buried in a mass grave. The remaining 9000 teachers were sent to the Katorga for 5 years penal labor. In some villages, there was no teacher left. Many schools had no teachers at all anymore. As human rights activists in Nentsia heard about this news, they planned a demonstration. A mass demonstration. Supreme Commissar Sergey Yermolayev was often referred to as ''Supreme Commissar Sergey Stalin'', and Tsar Alexander was compared with Adolf Hitler and Dack Korto. But, on the grounds of Article 39, these activists were in violation of the law. UVB Order No. 00073 Issued by Commissar I.Y. Opekushin Signed by General Commissar 1st Rank V. Denisovsky In the week before the demonstrations were scheduled, UVB and ISB bureaus had finally managed to get a complete list of the majority of the people who wanted to attend the demonstration. 230 000 people were suspected by the UVB of preparing to attend an unlawful demonstration. According to the UVB and ISB, all demonstrators are in violation of Article 39, which clearly states that any form of help to subversive networks or actions are aimed at undermining the Nentsian unity and stability. People who have helped subversive networks or actions must be treated as enemies of the Empire. And with that conclusion, the UVB was ordered to arrest 5612 of the most fanatic and influential activists. ISB Order No. 00748 ordered for the arrest of another 19 862 activists. It took a week, before all these people had been arrested. The prisons were full, so many were transported to the Katorga right away. The remaining suspected demonstrators were closely watched by the UVB and the ISB. They would be the first ones on the list to be arrested by the next mass arrest. We will see how violent the demonstration will be, next week. The government has already announced that it will smash every attempt to demonstration. The UVB Gvardiya troops are probably already preparing their clubs and rifles for the confrontation. |

Anti-government demonstration suppressed in Vladimirsk![]() Despite the warnings and the thousands of preemptive arrests made by the government, nearly 100 000 demonstrators showed up this morning in Vladimirsk to march in the great anti-government parade. The situation was tense from the beginning, as the military police (Gvardiya) and State Police (GosPol) immediately showed up as well in hundreds of armored and military vehicles, wearing heavy body armor, masks and even sub-machine guns. It was all too obvious that the authorities had prepared themselves for an old-fashioned battle to suppress the demonstration. The demonstrators in their turn came up with fireworks, molotov cocktails, clubs and knifes. Some had the guts to show large pictures of Yermolayev, depicted as Adolf Hitler, or occasionally as Stalin. Nearly 100 000 people came to Vladimirsk to demonstrate against three issues: - Article 39, which allows the government to persecute political opponents - The All-Nentsian Imperial Declaration of National Unity, which states that Nentsia has a state ideology - And the political mass arrests and executions of the past months. Since 49AE, there are 43 848 political prisoners in Nentsia. During the march, insultive chants were sung by the demonstrators against Yermolayev, but also against Tsar Alexander. For the UVB Gvardiya troops, this was unacceptable. They began to use armored vehicles to disperse the crowd in smaller segments, some radical blocks turned violent. The began to throw with rocks, sticks and bottles containing pigs blood. At that point, the authorities began to arrest people. When tear gas was used, most of the demonstrators decided to walk away and headed back home later today. But a small group of roughly 20 000 militant activists remained. The fights carried on for 90 minutes, after which the Gvardiya troops lined up and opened fire at the crowd. The demonstration ended quickly after that. The forbidden demonstration has ended in a tragedy, leaving behind nothing but a bloodbath. 763 activists have been arrested, 1239 were killed and 559 are wounded. At first, the media were not allowed to report about this, but the Commissariat of Internal Affairs has decided that the situation is calm enough to report this news. Many Nentsians are furious, but most Nentsians are apathetic. Tonight, Tsar Alexander will speak to the Empire to give an official statement about the tragedy in Vladimirsk.

Terror is the quickest way to a new society - Josif Stalin The Great Terror Supreme Commissar Yermolayev sat with a complacent feeling in the dining room of the Tsar in the Stolyarov palace. The room was large, the marble walls were decorated with golden sculptures, baroque paintings and the coffered ceiling contained countless painted and golden panels. Dinner was finished, the Tsaritsa and the children had already left the table. But Tsar Alexander and Sergey Yermolayev had business to discuss. In the past months, Yermolayev had launched a program of national political repression. It was his objective to re-shape the Nentsian Empire into a unified and stable block again. Since the fall of communism, Nentsia had adopted a horror of a democracy. The Nentsian democracy had become chaos under political polarization, and weak governance and corruption. Both Yermolayev and Tsar Alexander were not anti-democratic. Tsar Alexander was an enlightened despot and Yermolayev democracy was the perfect system for a unified and stable society. But Nentsia, was not unified and stable enough in the eyes of Yermolayev. Yermolayev truly believed that the only way to reach this, which was in complete national interest, was through force. Yermolayev believed that ''democratic principles'' shut be put aside when necessary for the benefit of the Empire. Yermolayev even believed that now was the time to ignore democratic principles in the name of the Empire. ''Your majesty, I think we made some good moves in 'enforcing' our plans for the greater good upon the population. We have brought our political tools in position to begin reshaping the country, political opposition is being dealt with. But the question that arises now, how far will we go?'' said Sergey Yermolayev. He ran through some files from the KVD; 41 292 political opponents had been killed in 49AE, more than 73 000 political arrests had been made in 49AE and a few major political assassinations had occurred in the past years. The political repression in Nentsia, began to look more like state-terrorism. Tsar Alexander was considering his options. He was a natural leader, he put himself on the throne thanks to his own mastermind plot. Alexander was an intelligent man, charming if he wanted to, cruel if needed. A human life meant nothing to Alexander, it had no value. The only reason that he had not become a cruel tyrant, yet, was because he wanted to please his allies. But these times were perfect to 'tighten up' a bit. The times of democratic bullshit had achieved nothing for the greater good of the Empire, Alexander believed it was now time to use the most powerful tool to achieve goals: death. ''I see.'' Tsar Alexander spoke with a calm, but cold voice. ''Today, after the massacre in Vladimirsk, some parts of the population have been angered. From today on, we will have to deal with a large opposition in our country, because we crossed the line according to many. They say these deaths cannot justify the ends that we pursue. I want you to make clear to every Nentsian, even government personnel and Federovist Party members - that there is no opposition possible to our aims, and that it is justified to eliminate all factors within the society that could undermine our plans for the greater good.'' ''I am glad that we agree on this. Within the Supreme State Duma, we must tolerate the opposition, for the sake of democracy. But outside that duma, I'll have the troops and agents ready to remove all elements that even have the slightest chance to undermine our plans within the society. Everybody will know that no blood will be spared to reach our goals. Nobody will be against us anymore if they know what we are capable of. I'll have the UVB and ISB prepare lists of people we can send to the Katorgas. It doesn't matter who we send to the Katorga, as long as we tell the people they were our enemies. In the year 50AE, I will set a quotum that our organizations must have deported at least 400 000 political enemies.'' said Yermolayev. ''That sounds good. But we must be alert. We are making enemies. The ones that carry out our orders, grow in power every time they receive an order from us. Every time you give Opekushin the order to carry out mass arrests, he will grow a little bit. Don't you ever allow him to become powerful enough to arrest and execute you, Sergey. Once every few years, we must whipe out the bureaucratic elite on which we rely, before they whipe us out. You understand?'' said Alexander with a pushy voice. Yermolayev nodded. Tsar Alexander was a mastermind when it came to political tactics, the use of fear, the use of violence and power. Heinrich Himmler once said: The best political weapon is the weapon of terror. Cruelty commands respect. Men may hate us. But, we don't ask for their love; only for their fear. |

![]() UVB Order No. 00132 Issued by Tsar Alexander the Great Signed by General Commissar 1st Rank V. Denisovsky The Extermination of Enemies of the Empire The Empire is under a severe threat. Jews, communists, immigrants, non-Christians, liberals, fascists, republicans, socialist trade unions - minorities all over the Empire seek to destroy what we have. They all reject the state ideology which is based on Orthodoxy, autocracy and nationality, they reject the authority of the state and the Federovist Party, and they seek to undermine and sabotage this authority to destroy our national future of stability and unity. In these turbulent times, where fascism and communism threaten Renatia, where extremist subversives have already taken Agabia - Nentsia needs to arm itself against all these threats. A strong national unity under the glorious rule of Tsar Alexander must be accomplished to preserve a good and glorious future for our Empire. Supreme Commissar Yermolayev and Tsar batyushka Alexander I have that they are true leaders. Under heavy pressure of the political opposition and human rights activists, they have decided what's best for the Empire and its future. Starting in 50AE, the government will launch a campaign for an indefinite period to whipe out all groups within our society that threaten the Empire. Tsar Alexander said today, that a glorious future cannot be reached without death throes with the present. To become a society, where no enemies exist, one must first go through a proces of showing no mercy for the enemies that currently exist. One must deal with enemies that might exist tomorrow, and one must get rid of those who even have the potential of becoming an enemy. Tsar Alexander has given the UVB, Directorate of Internal Security, more powers to purge the society from political enemies that threaten the Nentsian Empire. Tsar Alexander hopes he can count on the loyalty of the people to report political enemies to the state, so that the state can neutralize the threat they form. Tsar Alexander regrets this inconvenience, but he says this is really the quickest and most drastic way to protect our Empire. This article had a major impact on the Nentsian society. Activists spontaneously went out on the streets, demanding the government to resign. UVB troops quickly showed up in military trucks and opened fire and anyone protesting. The death toll is currently unknown. UVB troops all over the country have received lists containing the names of people who were suspected of undermining the Nentsian Empire. Teachers, students, members of trade unions, communists, jews, muslims, journalists - they were all on the lists. The people on these lists were actually not suspected of being against the government. The UVB had no time to check that out. No. The people on these lists were random, just people who belonged to a social/religious/ethnic group which had a potential motive to be against the Federovist government. And all who were part of such a group, were a potential political dissident. And thus an enemy of the Empire. In the Katorgas, there were already 73000 political prisoners who were arrested in 49AE. To create more space for new prisoners, Ivan Opekushin ordered to execute prisoners to create space. The terror had begun. All Nentsians would witness what their government was capable of. All Nentsians would witness what could happen if they even thought about political dissent. A village called Brakazava was known for its Jewish community. The Jewish community there posed a threat to the Nentsian political stability. If they revolted against the anti-Jewish policy of the Nentsian Tsar, they could inspire other groups in the Empire to revolt. Sergey Yermolayev ordered the ISB to execute the village as quick as possible to eliminate the threat of a nationwide rebellion. That night, the ISB sent a few hundred officers to Brakazava. The executions carried on for two days. All 12 947 inhabitants of Brakazava were executed and dumped in a mass grave by the ISB. |

In all parts of Nentsia, workers went on strike, activists demonstrated against the political repression exercised by the powerful in Vladimirsk. The situation in Nentsia was becoming more and more tense. The population began to stir against the authoritarian rule of the Tsar and Supreme Commissar Yermolayev, two men who believed their vision for the Empire justified every cruelty. Tsar Alexander wrote to Supreme Commissar Yermolayev: These are the most difficult times for us. The people now see us as a threat to them. It is now that we must hold on to our beliefs and policy. We must whipe out every possible saboteur in the society, later the people will realize that this purge will only make the Empire stronger and better. The more saboteurs we have executed, the better. Even if we have to whipe out half of the population. Yermolayev ordered Opekushin, the head of internal affairs, to eliminate all opposition in the country. Hundreds of thousands of police officers and soldiers were assigned to the UVB to carry out the orders. General Commissar of the UVB, Vladimir Denisovsky: We will make all our enemies beg for mercy. And when they beg us, we will execute them without remorse or even the slightest hesitation. Their blood is the elixir of life for the Empire. This month we have executed 3000 workers in Kobolevsk, 7000 activists in Vladimirsk, 4000 strikers in Fedorgrad, and 45 000 more executions are planned for the next month. The only reason why we would stop executing, is to prevent us from drowning in the pools of blood. In the first months after the announcements made by the Nentsian government, millions all over Nentsia resisted the government. The authorities suppressed all forms of protest with brutal violence and military force. Those who participated in any form of protest were executed by the UVB troops. The victims were thrown in rivers with stones around their necks, buried alive, impaled or simply lined up before a firing squad. Inside the Lalykin Prison Facility, the main prison of the UVB, the attrocities were even worse. The prisoners were tortured. The prisoners were boiled alive, skinned, crucified and also stoned to death. In special rooms, prisoners were executed to make room for more prisoners. The prisoners were lined up, and shot in the back of the neck. The execution cellars became littered with corpses and soaked with blood. In the first months of 50AE, the Nentsian great terror was on full throttle. And things would become only more worse. Yermolayev ordered local UVB bureaus to draw up execution lists. It did not matter who anymore, the Federovist Party and Tsar Alexander simply wanted executions and deportations. |

In a war, one should have no mercy with the enemy. At this point, we are at war. We are at war with the subversives of our Empire. All Nentsians who are loyal to the Tsar and the Federovist Party must join us in that war, and help with the extermination of our enemies. - Grigory Chernin Chelcheremsk - southeast Nentsian province ''Urkynastan'' Five military UVB trucks arrived in the village of Chelcheremsk. The commanding officer had strict orders. He had to rid the entire region of Muslims and he had to reach a certain amount of executions by the end of the month. That order came from Denisovsky who wanted to show to Opekushin how well his officers were doing their jobs. The commanding officer had no time to check whether people were muslim or not. He just randomly picked a village, where he would just execute all people he could find. This whole order wasn't even about muslims. This was about executions. The government needed to show the muslim community what might happen to them if they didn't subject to the Tsar and the Federovist Party. The UVB troops set up camps in the village. The people in the village were extremely scared of what might happen. Some tried to flee, others tried to fight against the UVB. First, all suspected muslims were taken from their homes and told to dig a large hole in the ground, just outside the village. When that was done, they were buried alive in a mass grave. After that, all other men were arrested as well. They were executed in groups of 20 somewhere in a courtyard. Eventually, the courtyard was too full of corpses. One could literally walk on a floor of corpses, and even slip over the human fluids. The executions carried on outside the village. It took more than a week, to purge the village of basically all inhabitants. The commanders reported to V. Denisovsky: I have executed them all. 18 633 enemies have been buried in the earth, soaked with blood. I have shown no mercy, and I will continue to do so. Orthodoxy! Autocracy! Nationality! Da zdravstvuet Tsarʹ! |
