![]() The Anarchist Action Front of the 2nd of October (2nd of Jevar) (AAF-2-10) is an anarchist revolutionary urban guerilla army in Tzetxuhoan. The group is seen as one of the most violent in Renatia, despite its very short history. The AAF-2-10 began in 46 AE as a group of radical activist students from the Greentown Autonomous University. The group protested against the government to show solidarity with the Ichihuexopan Murrietista rebellion. The movement was formed initially by Billy Byrne, Finnian O'Neill, Owen McNevin and Bree Quinlan. They were, according to acqaintances, known for the strong political engagement. At the GUA university, they would often distribute pamphlettes and publish essays in which they called for resistance to the ultra-conservative system of Tzetxuhoan. Since 46 AE, the group was involved in organizing large protests, riots and involved in direct action. Since the end of 47 AE, the group has taken up arms and turned much more violent. Background Tzetxuhoan, a tropic nation in Agabia, was inhabited by several indigenous Indian tribes, such as the Ichihuexopaneco, the Tzekuitl and the Quetzexa. Anglo and Dutch colonists later colonized the lands, exploiting the natural resources of the country. The colonial white people settled down in Tzetxuhoan, mainly along the coastal regions. They installed some kind of an Apartheid policy. Indigenous peoples were not allowed to vote, not allowed to follow proper education and there were more of such laws. After a few centuries, many of the Apartheid laws were abolished. The racial voting laws were replaced by suffrage based on wealth, excluding the indigenous population which was often very poor. The ultra-conservative governments of Tzetxuhoan never did much for the indigenous population, but its corporations did confiscate all the resources and lands of the rural indigenous population. The police would often abuse its power in the indigenous regions, raping the women and murdering the men. In 44 AE, this led to the Ichihuexopan Murrietist rebellion. The students who would later form the AAF-2-10 were supportive to the Murrietist cause. In 46 AE, the rebellion in Ichihuexopan became very serious. The government responded with brutal military violence. In response to this, Finnian O'Neill, Billy Byrne, Bree Quinlan and Owen McNevin began to organize protests against the government.
Notable members The original members are Finnian O'Neill, Bree Quinlan, Billy Byrne and Owen McNevin. They were all students at the GUA, Greentown Autonomous University. The GUA is known for its large amounts of left-leaning students. GUA students have a repution in leftist activism. William ''Billy'' Byrne: Billy Byrne studied Law at the GUA. He is of anglo-Colonial descent, his father was a salesman in Greentown. Billy Byrne was at his university known for being a troublemaker. Byrne would often violate the rules at the campus, to make his radical political statements clear. Byrne was also arrested for spraying grafiti, and smashing a window of a CBC bank building. Byrne has been a close friend of Finnian O'Neill for almost his entire life. Finnian O'Neill: Finnian O'Neill grew up in Ashton, where his mother lived. His parents were divorced. Later, O'Neill went to live with his father in Greentown, where he met Billy Byrne in high school. At university, O'Neill and Byrne were involved in direct action, distributing manifestos against the ultra-conservative government. O'Neill once attacked a professor in university, because the man supported the racial oppression of the government. Later, O'Neill became a supporter of 'propaganda by the deed', a doctrine which justifies violence and against the state and capitalism. It is said that O'Neill convinced Byrne of the need of weapons in 47 AE, to ''defend themselves against state violence''. It is also believed that O'Neill has an affair with Bree Quinlan. Bree Quinlan: Bree Quinlan is a female student of Anglo-Colonial descent. Her parents both work for a leftist newspaper, and sent Quinlan to the GUA, the only left-leaning university in Greentown. Bree Quinlan was known for her commitment to animal rights and environmentalism. Her teachers say that they noticed that Quinlan radicalized when she started living at the GUA campus. She got into contact with other leftist radicals, such as Billy Byrne and Finnian O'Neill who became her boyfriend. At some point Bree Quinlan considered the life of an animal to be more valuable than that of a human, and she claimed to be willing to die for her environmentalist cause. Bree Quinlan counts as perhaps the most fanatical member of the AAF-2-10. Owen McNevin: Owen McNevin grew up in an indigenous Indian community, though he is of Anglo-Colonial descent. His parents gave education to the indigenous indians who lived hidden in the jungles. McNevin developed a strong aversion to the government's racist and ultra-conservative policies. McNevin went to Greentown for high school, and then went to the GUA. At the GUA he advocated for equal indigenous rights, and in 44AE he openly supported the Ichihuexopan rebellion. McNevin believed violence against an injust system is justified. Finnian O'Neill and McNevin agreed both on this, and soon became friends. O'Neill introduced McNevin to Byrne, after which they started organizing actions against the government. In 45 AE, McNevin was frequently arrested for instigating riots in the city. Ideology The AAF-2-10 began with Billy Byrne and Finnian O'Neill, both are heavily influenced by anarchism and anarcho-syndicalist thought. Bree Quinlan is a radical environmentalist, and Owen McNevin claims to be a Murrietist (Ichihuexopan supporter, libertarian-socialist). The AAF-2-10 consists of roughly 50 to 60 active members, with thousands of supporters. They all share anti-capitalist, anti-authoritarian, anti-racist and anti-imperialist ideas. The AAF-2-10 officially claims not to follow a single aim or ideology. It seeks to overthrow the existing social, political and economical structures that enslave all minorities who form together the majority. The AAF-2-10 wishes to form a wide coalition with social organizations ''from below'' to form a ''national, leftist, anti-capitalist front'' that will bring a revolution of ''those who are below'', to overthrow those who are ''above''. The AAF-2-10 fits in the tradition of insurrectionary social anarchism. Edited by Nentsia, 2 Dec 2010, 06:02 PM.
