![]() YezNov (Daily News) Reporting from Vladimirsk By Ilya Nikizhenkov Supreme Commissar Yermolayev announced this morning that he has increased the Nentsian military budget. After the serious threat of war against Courlund, Yermalyev came to the conclusion that our military could use an extra impulse. The budget went from 9% to 14%, increasing the military budget from $60 billion a year to $119 billion a year. The military will not be expanded, says Yermolayev, but he considers to re-introduce the military conscription, to increase the reservist pool from 3 million reservists up to 25 million. Yermolayev says the budget increase is necessary, to protect Nentsian citizens in the future. Last time, our government had to sit and watch how Fascist-Davidist pigs in Courlund slaughtered our brothers. Yermolayev warns that Courlund's crimes have not been forgotten, and that they will pay for it. ''Maybe not today, or tomorrow...or next week. But I swear on all that I have, that Courlund will some day pay for its crimes. That, my people, is my pledge to this Empire.'' said Yermolayev. Furthermore, the budget for healthcare went down, and an economic growth of 4% is expected. The budget for public transport has been decimated to increase the funds for infrastructure. |
