Patriarch Dmitriy:
Today ten thousand souls are with us in the Holy Cathedral of Saint Andrew, and 200 million souls all over the Empire to commemorate the thousands of Nentsian civilians who died in Courlund.

I wish to thank the Imperial family for being here, I wish to thank the bishops for being here as well, I wish to thank the spirit of Maria, mother of Christ, for giving us strength and I wish to thank God for guiding us in these difficult times.

Never....our Empire lost so many of its citizens on one event. The Davidist soldiers took the lives of our brothers and our sisters. The Empire is mourning, the grief is unbearable.

Together we will pray, with a united voice to God. We will pray, and ask him to have mercy on those who were taken from us by the Davidists. We will ask God to protect us against the Davidists and their Muslim friends. (...)

224 million people throughout the Movaro-Nenets Empire were filled with grief, mourning about the Courlundish genocide on Nentsian civilians. Thousands died.

Radical Panslavists demanded retaliation, war and punishment for Courlund. They marched through the streets of many cities, displaying their panslavic tricolours and messages. Rumors went around that the marches were mostly organized by the Federovist Party.

Supreme Commissar Yermolayev revealed a giant monument, made of gold and marble, on Imperial Road in Vladimirsk. It stood fierce in front of the brand new and enormous Alexander Palace which was still under construction. It was a monument to commemorate the 3500 deaths of innocent civilians in Courlund.

For three minutes, 224 million people were silent in Renatia. The Nentsian flags were half-mast, the Navy fired shots to express commemoration, and the 1st Ceremonial Infantry Division held a military ceremony in front of the Palace.

Thousands were killed in Courlund, for no reason. The Nentsian population was shocked, in grief, and furious.
