Farrago Ocean, en route to Eriadu The Camnonian cruise ship was packed with holidaymakers. Some were Camnonians heading for The Sorian Empire, others were Sorian citizens heading home. It had been an uneventful voyage so far, the passengers had spent the days enjoying themselves on the state of the art liner. All that was about to change... It was evening on board. Passengers were getting dressed up and heading to the dining room and ballroom. The sea was calm and the moon was out. It looked like being an ordinary night for the passengers. They had no idea how wrong they were... |

On Board the Ship In the darkness of the engine bay, a shadow was moving. It moved over to a large electrical box. He ripped off the lid and grabbed a series of wires in his hand. Using a knife he sliced them in two... In the dining and ballrooms, all the lights instantly went out. Suddenly there was panic. People were screaming, crying out for friends and family. Chaos rained everywhere... ''What the hell is happening?!?!'' The Captain couldn't believe what he was seeing. ''All the electrics have gone Captain.'' Someone said. ''How could that be??'' The Captain ran over to some other controls. The vital controls on the control deck, ones that controlled the engines, radio etc. were running on auxiliary power from the engines. The Captain could see something was terribly wrong. ''Ok.'' He said. ''Turn the ship towards the nearest Port.'' He commanded. ''Captain.'' Someone said. ''We're losing Engine power as well.'' Before the Captain could reply, the engines cut out. Now they had no auxiliary power. Everything went dark... Edited by Eriadu, 23 Aug 2010, 11:18 PM.

In the Ballroom ''SILENCE!!!!'' Roared the Captain. He had just made his way from the deck, accompanied by several officers with flashlights. Now, at least there was some light. ''Please, everyone keep quiet.'' He asked. ''Now, we are unsure of what has happened, but we have lost all power in the ship. We have no engines, we can go no where.'' There were gasps in the room. The Captain waved motioned for quiet. ''We are doing everything we can do try and find the source of the problem. Rest assured we will.'' He finished. Talk ensued among the passengers. The Captain sat down, hoping what he had just said would happen... |

Deep Within the Ship The man who had cut the power was now deep within the ship. He was wearing scuba gear. The window set in the wall was open. He was ready to leave. Before he did though, he had to do one more thing... Out of his bag he pulled a package. He placed it down carefully, exactly where it was meant to be placed. He pushed a button on it. He began to beep. He smiled at it. Then he pulled on his mask, and jumped out of the window into the sea... In the Ballroom, people were still scared. All they had for light were the flashlights the crew were using. They had been instructed to sit on the floor so they could be counted and also to maintain order. The Captain himself was sitting on the steps of the stage that went up to his table. An officer approached him. ''Sir.'' He said. ''Go ahead.'' Replied the Captain. ''Sir, we've found how the power went. The lines were cut. Sliced open with a knife.'' ''What!?!?'' The Captain rose to his feet. ''The Ship has been sabotaged Sir.'' ''But, why??'' ''We don't know Sir.'' ''What is our location?'' The Captain asked. ''We are some 200 miles off the Eriadan coast Sir.'' Answered the Officer. ''And whoever cut the power disabled the locator becan.'' The Captain thought for a moment. The power lines had been cut, the ship sabotaged. It was clear the ship wasn't going to make it to The Sorian Empire under it's own power. And, with the becan disabled, no one knew where they were. But for the moment the Ship was stable. There was no need to abandon it. ''We wait here.'' He said. ''In a few hours when we've not docked in Eriadu, we'll be reported missing. Search teams will be sent out and we will be rescued. Go and relay these orders to the first officer.'' He finished. ''Yes Sir.'' The Officer saluted and walked off. The Captain sat down again. Why would anyone sabotage the ship? What was to achieve in it? All these questions went through the Captains head as he sat there. The Saboteur surfaced out of the ocean in the night. He paddled his way towards the boat he knew it would be there. It had been left there just a while ago for him to make his getaway. He looked at his watch and then looked through his binoculars towards the ship. He could see it, a dark shadow in the night. He checked his watch again, then turned back to the ship. It was time. The ship burst into a giant orange fireball. It lit up the night as the whole ship exploded. It was torn in two by the bomb's force and immediately started to sink. As the bright fireball died down, the man took out a phone. He dialed a number. Someone answered. ''Mission accomplished.'' Said the man. ''Good.'' Then the person on the other end ended the call. The man out his phone away, started up his boats engine, and drove off into the night. |
