![]() Liberty in Concert, New Hope City - Tzetxuhoan 40Æ Live Today is the day of the annual concert in the middle of our capital, where dozens of great artists will play for liberty. The liberty for all people in Tzetxuhoan. The benefit concert is given to give ''the voiceless a voice'' in Tzetxuhoan. Tzetxuhoan is formally a democracy, but the poor and therefore also the indigenous have no right to vote in elections or to participate in the elections. This policy is the result of decades of conservatism, President Attwater of the Confederate Party has been in office for three decades now. He does not want to change the constitution to give every citizen a right to vote. Famous artists have showed up this year, and of course bands with a clear political color are here to bring their message to the government of Tzetxuhoan. John Ackerman, leader of the Pluralist Party is also attending the concert to express his solidarity with the goals of this concert. Amaya de Bolívar is attending too, she leads the small Unionist Party. This year, the concert has some new themes. The environment and animal protection, but also immigration and the Vishnu. There will be speeches of Renatian Action Front (militant activist animal protection group), a lawyer who protects immigrants rights, a journalist who visited the Indigenous communities that want more autonomy and many more. Minister of Interior, Stuart Robson (Confederate Party), says he will not attend the concert as it is a ''leftist hippie festival''. The opening of the concert will start in a few hours, more than 150 000 people have come to see it. Our capital today, belongs to the Pacifist, egalitarian, ecologist movements. This was Trisha Takanawa for CNC. Back to you Tom. |

The concert began, the sound of low guitars went through the streets, a screamy voice screamed ''let's goooooooooooo!!'' The scream could be heard blocks away from the actual square where the concert was held. A Tzetxuhoani hardrockband opened the concert with their song ''Fighting below''. The song symbolized the struggle of the people who lived ''below''. The song ended with a big fireball released above the stage in the air. Then the lead singer, Danny James, began to host the concert. ''Ladies and gentlemen, from all countries all over Renatia, welcome!'' the crowd, which had grown to 260 000 visitors, cheered. ''Oh my, we have some special guests this year. They are famous, they are loud, they submit to nobody, for them there is NO AUTHORITY!!!!!'' the audience exploded. Danny James was glad he wore headphones so the noise would not make him deaf. ''But first, I want to present you one of our other special guests. He is known as a pirate. Nobody ever knows where he is, and the only time we see him is at his boat on the news. Ladies and gentlemen, I present you: Finnian O'Neill!!!!!!'' A man with red hair and a red beard entered the stage. His clothes were casual, but his T-shirt was black with a Jolly Roger on it. Finnian O'Neill was the captain of an RAF ship. The RAF, Renatian Action Front, was a militant radical environmentalist movement that was active in both environment protection as well as animal rights activism. RAF ships frequently attacked oil tankers and fishing boats at see. In the harbors, RAF activists would go out at night to sabotage other ships and it frequently occurred that ships would sink in the harbor due to RAF activity. ''Thank you. Thank you for coming here at Liberty in Concert. The artists here are great, but it is really you people who give the message! Showing up with 300 000 people, to protest against the wars in Renatia, against the oppression even here in Tzetxuhoan, against the environmental destruction and against the injustice all around our planet. Not long ago, me and my men hijacked a fishing boat. The type of boat that uses enormous tools to scrape over the bottom of the sea, destroying any sea life down there. I asked their captain 'What do you see when look at this view, this horizon?' The color of the sea was beatyful that day, dolphins were playing around the boat. I think I even saw the tail of a whale coming out of the water. The captain did not reply to me. He saw nothing special. But I do know what he saw. He saw thousands of cans, cans filled with fish. He saw money, and thousands of hungry consumers. That is what these people see when they look at the beauty of our planet. Put me in a rainforest, and I will be stunned by the sounds, the colors, the smell. Put one of these businessmen in a rainforest, and he will only see furniture, money, parfumes and shampoo and much more stuff he can sell. But the 300 000 people who are here today and tonight, I know you see our planet just like me. I know you see the hypocrisy, I know you see the powerhungry factors behind the wars, the greed behind companies and governments and the blatant racism in Kratlonia, Germania and also Tzetxuhoan. Thank you!'' |

When Finnian O'Neil spoke, hundreds of the Elebeneese who came to the concert screamed with joy. All over the Empire, this man was seen as a hero. Elebeneese religion and culture was built around preserving the environment and, famously, vegetarianism. It was a surprise to the people of Tzetxuhoan when they saw the Elebeneese disembark. But most of them wanted to see Finnian. Of the few environmentalists who came from Moranus Vera, the Elebeneese had avoided. Very obviously. When Finnian finished, the Elebeneese screamed in their native tongues. They cheered, waved flags and roared for the man. Many called him a terrorist. In the eyes of the Elebeneese, he was a great man. |
