To all who attend the coronation
From- Lord Chamberlin

Spoiler: click to toggle
On the death of the last monarch the law says the next ruler becomes King/Queen then and there however they are not crowned for montsh afterward for two reasons. The death of a monarch is a time of mourning and sadness apposed to the happiness of a coronation and the time is needed to prepare everything and everyone for the day ahead. The coronation will take place in the Cathedral of Angles as it always has since the first Christian monarch usually the Archbishop of Tuistan would crown the Queen but he is unable to so the Bishop of Durbring takes his place.

The Queen will be dressed by the mistress of the robes and her ladies in waiting while every clergy man in Tuistan lines the Giant Church. The Lord High Chamberlin bestows the Queen with royal symbols including the orb and sceptre of Tuistan. The Barons of the Eastern Ports take part in the ceremony they escort the Queen down to the throne holding a large canopy with her coat of arms on the top facing the Lord God.

The peers of the realm will be given robes to match their standing. They were a full length Green, the traditional colour of Tuistan. Along the top of the robes are Golden Lines:
Members of the Royal Family- 15
Duke- 7
Marquess-6
Earl-5
Viscount-4
Baron-3
Baronet- 2
Members of the House-1
As people from other nations are coming to the coronation they have the choice to wear their own clothes our wear specially created robes for the occasion. Depending on Rank they will either use:

Ruler (Eg.King/Queen/Tsar)-14
Next in Line-13
Other Children-11
Other Royals-9

As well as Robes pers wear cornets, as do the Royal Family, cornets have different styles for each rank in the nobility. The heir to the throne, right now the Queens young Cousin, is given a crown of their own and created crown prine of Tuistan at the same time as the Queen will be crowned. Then the Bishop, Duke of Ragehope, Duke of Tuia and the Lord Chamberlin go to one of the four points of hte compass and acclaim. "To the people of the_____. I give to you your noble Queen Eleanor II." The Queen then takes the oaths.

The Bishop then stands next to the queen and everyone prays led by the Bishop including the Queen, if this gies agains the religion of any non citizens they do not have to partake, he then anoints the queen with oil in the name of the holy trinity. He mvoes behind the Queen and lowers the crown onto her head and everyone shouts "GOD SAVE THE QUEEN." At this time cannons are fired.

The Queen then stays in her throne and the Bishops move toward her and swearn allegiance. The peers of the realm go next lead by their premier. For example. The Preimer Duke swears fior all the Dukes and the Premier Earl swears for all the Earls.

A great Banquet would be held next in Westmore Hall. When everyone was seated the Queen Champion will ride in and challenge any one who denies the Queen right to rule. Then whatever games, music etc will take place. The next day tournaments start.

Cathedral of Angles

Anyone who had any political power in Tuistan had arrived for the Coronation of the next Queen here they would swear a;;egiance to the Queen and she would rule them for the rest of her life. It was a joyus occasion and music was already playing in the background. A choir was singing a song in Latin praising the Monarchy and the right to rule. The Cathedral was huge and thousands would soon file in. Everyone had been given seats and people from abroad were placed on one of the front rows.

Tsar Alexander I, Ekatarina Vasilyevna and their son Nikolaj arrived together with Philippe XII de Charette de la Couville, King of Arveille (father of Ekatarina Vasilyevna), Elisabeth de Comtois, mother of Ekatarina Vasilyevna, Marie-Therese de Charette de la Couville, Grand Duchess of Limoges (sister of Ekatarina Vasilyevna) and Vladimir of Kazin, Ober-Gofmarshal of the Imperial household at the cathedral where the coronation would take place.

The whole ceremony reminded Alexander of his own coronation, in 33Æ. He felt good, he felt in peace with himself.

After being dressed by her handmaidens the queen arrived at the Cathedral in a golden carriage. The Lord Chamberlin stood outside the Carriage and helped her out of the veichle 13,000 people had turned out to meet their queen and see her coronation it was not something that happened very often and was a great event to attend and although they would not be allowed inside they would be allowed outside the Cathedrals. They would also know before any one else in the country when the Queen had been crowned as the cannons would be fired from the Cathedral roof top.

She went up the steps of the Cathedral and reached the door. Two royal guards stood outside the Cathedral and banged their spears to thr ground three times and yelled. "The Queen has arrived, let the doors be opened in the name of her Majesty Eleanor II." The doors were opened slowly by two guards inside, they lowered their heads as she approached them, with mumbles of my Queen. She moved slowly forward and when she stepped inside the Cathedral she was flanked. The Lord Chamberlin stood in front of her. Four Barons of the Eastern Ports stood beside her with a great canopy above her with her emblem on it. Beside her were the Bishops of Portwell and Brandin. Behind her were her handmaidens all dressed in pure white.

The Queen herself wore a beautiful Green dress that had countless jewles on it. She then began the long walk to the throne. Everyone stood as she moved downward her dress trailing behind her. The Dukes, Marquess', Earls, Counts, Barons and Baronets all took of their caps to her while any Bishops placed their hand on their heart as her Majesty passed. She saw the delegation from Nentsia and the Tsar, she ever so slightly lowered her head. She did this with King Alvin Grendel, King Thorn Ricardez all of the kings in the room. She smiled as she walked towaard her throne. She saw the Bishop was ready to crown her.

As she moved down the Aisle the Lord Chamberlin, The Bishop, Duke of Ragehope, Duke of Tui all took a position on the point of a compass. Each spoke in turn. "To the people of the North/South/East/West. I give to you your noble Queen Eleanor II." By the time this was done Eleanor was at the throne and had taken her seat. Silence filled the room as the Bishops stood infront of the Queen.
"Do you swear by almighty God and all present to uphold the laws and traditons of the Kingdom of Tuistan, to not betray your people and to show good faith."
She replied in the tradtional manner. "I Swear it."
"Do you swwear to uphold and protect the most holy church, to safeguard her from evil and never corrupt her."
"I Swear to protect the church."

The Bishop falls to one knee and lowers his head. Every Catholicn in the room does the same and enter silent prayer.

After seven minutes exactly he stands with the aide of two other Bishops and takes the holy oil and blesses the Queen. He moves behind her and picks up the Crown of Saint Howard and lowers it onto her head. "By the power invested in me by the Lord God, I crown you Queen of Tuistan, Queen of the Mountain people and Count of the Archipelago."

"GOD SAVE THE Queen."
