What you need to know: Around 0Æ, Communists took power in Nentsia. They abolished the Tsardom, Tsar Ivan XVIV of Maximov was killed. His son, Filip II managed to escape with the help of a servant named Vladimir Kylia (remember that name). Until the year of 27Æ, Nentsia was a totalitarian communist state. But the totalitarianism had little to do with communism, the people demanded freedom. The slogan of the protests was: Communism we say NO, Fascist Nikov GO GO GO. Nikov was the president at that time. Nikov launched 5 days of fury, a week of extreme state terror to regain control. An anarchist outlaw, nicknamed Volkov, blew up every ministry building in the capital. Nikov was killed. It marked the beginning of an era of bloodshed. Dimitry Bolshin, a fascist admiral seized power. He build up an army, and began conquests in the lands he believed to belong to the Slavic people of Nentsia. WWII. He massacred the Morani people. Eventually, Bolshin was betrayed by his right hand: Vladimir Kylia. Kylia murdered Bolshin, and presented himself as the son of the last tsar who escaped. He was the legitimate ruler of Nentsia. But no, the real tsarevich was back and Filip II proved Kylia was a traitor. Kylia was executed. Filip II established a weak democracy. In 31Æ there would be the revival of the Communist Party. They took power, Zinev tried to re-establish the communist power. Filip II lived in exile. His cousin, Alexander, forced him to commit suicide. Alexander travelled back to Nentsia, and together with other conspirators he decapitated the regime of Zinev. Alexander was crowned to Tsar. He too established a weak democracy. And again, that democracy will not last long. The last prime minister, Boris Panchyukhov (elected in 37Æ), has recently resigned from office after he suffered a cardiac arrest. He is currently in a coma. It is 38-39Æ. Vladimirsk - Nentsia, 12 000 people were marching towards the Stolyarov palace, where the Nentsian government resided. Although there was no head of state anymore, the government continued the war against Germania. More and more people were turning against the war. The government itself, acted like it was literally decapitated. With the resignation of the head of the government, Panchyukhov, each minister followed his own agenda. The minister of war continued the war effort, the minister of foreign affairs nominated himself as chairman of the UNP and minister David Andonev continued to sabotage the government in favor of the shadow government. The official government was weak, that was for sure. Patriarch Athanasius of the Nentsian Orthodox Church began to use his influence more and more. After all, his church had around 70 million members. He preeched about the goodwill of God, and he demonized the godless democrats that currently ruled the country. The patriarch condemned the war against Germania. ''The slavic people of Nentsia should focus on Nentsia, and not on the outside world!'' The Slavophile party launched campaigns to prove the Nentsian culture was superior to other cultures. All in order to put the public sentiment in favor of a more powerful Tsar. The Tsar had limited powers, but oh boy he would do the country mcuh good if he got more power. Some people had much to gain with an all powerfull Tsar. The Tsar would reward them if they helped him to get more power, the religious truly believed the Tsar was their leader, so did the nationalists. Now that Tsar Alexander had secured his throne by having a son, he was ready to set some things in motion. |

Vladimirsk International Airport - Nentsia A private jet of the Imperial family touched the ground. On board were Tsar Alexander I, his wife and their son Nikolaj Alexandrovich. Thousands of people had gathered at the airport and the palace to greet the Imperial family and their newborn son. They all wanted to see the son of the popular Tsar. At the same time, it was a form of protest against the government. The Coalition of National Unity consisted of mainly anti-monarchist parties, and the people expressed their opinion about the coalition by showing their support for the monarchy. Monarchy was hot in Nentsia. The doors opened and the imperial family got out the plane, waving at the people. Tsar Alexander was dressed as always, in a white uniform with many golden decorations and honorations. His wife, the young Ekatarina was wearing a short dress, and the baby was wearing...baby clothes. The Imperial couple was brought to the Stolyarov Palace. Alexander was surprised to see that many people there. The entire square in front of the palace was filled with crowds. The entire city had been decorated, to celebrate the new heir apparent. Tsar Alexander and his wife waved at the people, they smiled - as they were brought to the palace. Once inside, the entire Imperial Household staff welcomed the family. The maids, chamberlain's, imperial guards, caterers - everybody welcomed Tsar Alexander, Ekatarina and little Nikolaj. Finally, the cabinet welcomed the royal family. One person was missing, the prime minister. The post of prime minister had been empty, since the last prime minister resigned after a cardiac arrest. Alexander knew this would be the perfect moment to bring some constitutional changes to Nentsia. Ekatarina went to her room to prepare herself and Nikolaj for the official presentation of their son to the public, the staff went back to work, and Alexander went to his office in the palace. He had a meeting with the Shadow Government of Nentsia. Alexander's office - Stolyarov palace Alexander looked at the men in his office. Grigori Nevelyev (Head of the ISB), Patriarch Athanasius (head of the Church), David Andonev (head of the Slavophile party), Konstantin Tsylenko (head of Komandy (SWAT-like)), Andrey Guzhnigaev (Marshall of the Red Army) and Fedor Tukachenko (Admiral of the Nentsian Red Fleet) were all present. They were the key figures in the shadow government that haunted the Official Nentsian government. These people all had some things in common: They had a special interest in a more powerful Tsar, they were Slavophiles and opposing the Coalition of National Unity. For two years, this shadow government tried to sabotage the official government, the coalition of national unity. They weren't making much progress with their plans, but the sudden resignation of the prime minister brought some great opportunities. ''Today is the big day.'' began Tsar Alexander. Alexander always presented him as a father for the people, but in reality, he was a villainous mastermind. Some nobles who knew the Tsar before he became a Tsar even believe Alexander has a psychotic mind. All we know is that Alexander is a cold-blooded man who won't hesitate to murder people who are ''in the way''. ''Mister Tsylenko, I count on you to lock the palace doors. Nobody gets in or out. The cabinet may not leave the palace until they have formally accepted me as the absolute ruler of the empire.'' continued Alexander. The plan had been made the day after premier Panchyukhov resigned. It would a coup d'etat behind the scenes, lead by Tsar Alexander. A coup in an attempt to end the democracy. ''Nevelyev, you shut down all the media stations. Phone lines must be dead. Guzhnigaev, your army regiment is to secure the city. I will not accept any other force trying to eliminate my coup attempt. Your men are the soldiers of the coup. They are allowed to fire at anyone trying to get in the palace. Just to remind, after I have shown my son to the crowds outside, I will give a speech. During the speech, you do what I just told you. In my speech, I will announce that I will take an active role in politics, which will limit the power of elected officials. I have agents in the crowd who will applaud for me, to encourage to mob. The cabinet will most likely be surprised to hear their power will be limited by me. They will probably refuse to give up their power. My guards will arrest them and imprison them in the palace. After my speech, I will ...force the cabinet ministers to accept my new... constitutional change.'' The men in the room nodded. One hour later... Alexander I kissed his wife on her mouth. She held Nikolaj in her arms. ''This is the big moment.'' whispered Alexander in her ear. Ekatarina thought about the moment they were showing Nikolaj to the country, but Alexander thought about the moment where he would take absolute power. The doors opened, and Alexander and Ekatarina stepped on the balcony of the palace. 69 000 people began to cheer and scream, they applauded. Military regiments in ceremonial uniforms saluted to the new Tsarevich Nikolaj Aleksandrovich. A group of Nentsian Arevnik planes flew over the palace, releasing a tricolored smoke pattern and the anthem was played by the military choir. After that the song ''Farewell of Slavianka'' was played, and military regiments paraded on the Palace square. They all saluted the newborn Nikolaj. Alexander felt great from the inside. He realized what beautiful empire he ruled, and all the people at this square adored him and his wife. Full of narcissist pride, Alexander saluted in his newest uniform, that refelcted in the sunlight. After all the ceremonies, all the people at the square made deep bow for Tsarevich Nikolaj. It was a symbol of their acceptance of the Tsarevich. He was their future ruler. After that, Ekatarina went back inside with Nikolaj. The poor little boy was tired and needed his sleep. Ekatarina also went to bed. She was very tired. Now it was time for Alexander's speech - his coup d'etat. I wish to thank you all for this warm welcome. I thank you for being here, despite the crises that struck our nation. For the past 6 years, in my being a Tsar, I have always remained politically neutral. I did that in order to bring stability to our beautiful nation, to bring stability, peace and freedom. But times change. Our country is at war now. I really understand that you, the humble and simple people of this empire, have no interest in any war. Of course people don't want war. Why should a poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best thing he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Our country is in a deep economic recession. It is caused by the worthless government that we have elected. I no longer have trust in this elected government. As a Tsar I still hold the symbolical power to sack a government if I believ that government causes more harm for the nation. I am here to announce, that the 'Coalition of National Unity' is hereby officially dissolved by the Tsar. The State Duma and the Imperial High Council have been suspended until furhter notice. Nentsia will, starting from today, have a week of national reorganization. It is time that I, Tsar of Nentsia, begin to clean up the mess of the previous governments. I will rewrite the constitution, I will bring change to our country and I will revive the empire to what it should be. I hope to count on your cooperation, your cooperation with the National Reorganization process under my lead. Nentsians, I greet you. After that, Alexander quickly left the balcony, leaving the crowd in confusion. When he entered the hallway, he was stormed by cabinet ministers. ''What are you doing, TSAR?'' shouted one of the communist ministers. Alexander ignored the question. A big man then stepped in front of Alexander. It was Volya Beshmelnitsyn, the populist minister of foreign affairs. ''We demand an explanation. You cannot do this!'' shouted Beshmelnitsyn. Alexander closed his eyes for a moment. His blood was boiling, flashes of him butchering Beshmelnitsyn went through his mind. After a moment, Alexander looked in the eyes of the minister. ''Is that how you speak to your master?'' said Alexander with a cold voice that went through the bone. The other ministers were astonished. ''Guards, arrest the ministers.'' shouted Alexander. immediately dozen of imperial guards rushed at the ministers. The ministers heavily resisted, a struggle was going on. Alexander didn't care. He would deal with the cabinet later. Now he was heading for his office, to change the constitution by hand. Outside the Stolyarov palace, some people began to boo the speech of the Tsar. They were immediately arrested by the Special Police units of Konstantin Tsylenko, an accomplice of Tsar Alexander. The present military regiments formed a defensive line for the palace against possible attacks on the palace by unhappy civilians. yet, 80% of the people didn't realize what was going on. |

12 hours later... The media stations in the country were quickly seized by the ISB of Nevelyev, the secret service. The media were only allowed to publish the constitutional change of Nentsia that would reform the democratic system. The communists and democrats started protests in the cities against the decision of the Tsar. They claimed Tsar Alexander had just formed Nentsia into an aristocracy. To be honest, Alexander did make his country a de facto absolutist monarchy. Inside the palace, Alexander and his accomplices spoke with the cabinet ministers. The ministers had been intimidated by the Imperial guard and the ISB for hours. If they would not cooperate with the plans of Tsar Alexander, they would be tortured to death. The ministers were imprisoned in the vault of the Palace. The guards opened the vault so that Tsar Alexander could speak with the ministers who were disposed by him, 12 hours ago. As soon as Alexander got into the room, Nikita Plovetshin shouted at him. ''You bastard! You screwed us up! You eliminated our legitimate power! You will not get away with this. As soon as we get out of here, we will have you impeached...TSAR!'' screamed the die-hard communist Plovetshin. Alexander laughed out loud, with a menacing voice. He looked Nikita Plovetshin straight in the eyes. ''Listen, my boy. I did not take away all of your powers. The people can still vote for the parliament. But the executive offices now belong to me.'' replied Alexander with a cold voice. As he spoke, flashes of murder and torture went through his mind. If Alexander was given the chance, he would slaughter Nikita Plovetshin. Plovetshin was a daring man. Alexander would love to whitness the fear in Plovetshin's eyes if he was being tortured by a psychotic beast. Alexander continued. ''In the future, the Tsar and his cabinet hold the executive power. The Tsar appoints the cabinet by himself from now on. The Tsar also appoints the Upper house members. The people are now only allowed to vote for the lower house. You see...you democratic fools may keep more than enough of your power.'' Before Plovetshin could respond, Alexander had rushed to him. He pulled a knife out and pressed it on Plovetshin's throat. ''And don't think I cannot do this. The power belongs to me! And I am prepared to kill anyone blocking my path. Trust me, I would love to slit that throat of yours.'' said Alexander with a frightening and evil voice. The other cabinet ministers were shocked. Never they had whitnessed this dark side of their Tsar. Who was this man? And what was he capable of doing? Slow but sure, the Nentsian government began to realize it had lost its power to the Tsar and his Shadow Network. |

The cabinet officially resigned one day after Alexander's announcement of constitutional changes. Many people began to realize now that the Tsar had expanded his political power by seizing executive power in the government. What was left of the Nentsian democracy was the Supreme State Duma, the lower house in the legislature. The state media began to publish the new government type that was designed by Tsar Alexander and his advisors.
As you can see, the legislative power is the only electable position in the country. And even then, the aristocrats and friends of the Tsar exercise power in the legislature by the Boyar Duma: the upper house. The people will only be able to elect the Supreme State Duma, which has not a single influence on the executive power. The Tsar controls that now...again. For 38 years, the power in Nentsia belonged to the people and autocrats who claimed to serve the people. Now that is over. The Tsar is back. His powers are growing. The former State Duma has been dissolved, to have new elections. It is unsure what parties will participate. Most parties are currently forming coalitions to enlarge their power in the new Supreme State Duma. Outside, on the streets, socialists, anarchists and communists are protesting against this constitutional change. The police has not intervened the protests yet. Slavophiles, conservatives, patriots and very religious also demonstrated - against the socialists, anarchists and communists. It led to some heavy clashes in the streets between these groups. The Nentsian Left and Monarchists have become sworn enemies since a few days. It is expected that all political parties will form two similar coalitions: The Left and the Monarchists. The Left is against the constitutional change, the Monarchists support the bill. |
