Baltar took the file and handed it to an advisor, who began reading it. They had an incredibly powerful navy, but lacked in all other aspects of a military. A good island-nation strategy. "To be honest, Aus'tiana is open to full military integration, as in combining our military budgets and creating a United Neuonian Armed Forces. While this is what my advising staff have have recommended and I personally support, if you would prefer something lest extreme I'm sure we can work out something akin to putting a military advisor on one another's defense staff as well as performing patrols and exercises with one another," Baltar said. |

"As you see control and defence of our seas is our number one concern, being on an Island we find it very important however this means our other forces lack. Our Army is...average and our Airforce is not the best in the world. I see your defence spending is very high for a nation with your armed force size, this I assume means very well trained men." She thought about his proposal. "I do not have the power to decide that, it would have to go to popular vote and I doubt the people would like to share their navy, the Army and the airofrce would not bother them as much. Maybe some Neuonian Land Army?" |

"Indeed. Know that Aus'tiana fully supports a complete integration of our military forces with joint command, the option will always be there if you would like to take us up on the offer. I highly encourage you to hold your vote, perhaps we will be able to prove that our plan will benefit both our nations in time. On another note, I propose that we establish a mutual defensive pact, whereas if either of our nations are attacked on our own soil the other is obligated to fully support them in defensive operations. Is this suitable or is there something else you would suggest?" Baltar asked. |

She thought. She would call a vote the second she returned she also needed the support of Parliment but that would not be to hard for her to do. She had a majority in Government and could pass it but for something like this she would prefer a supermajority. "I will, when I return I will call a vote. If the people vote yes, how would this go ahead?" She wondered how it would work exactly but then he continued. "No I agree one hundred percent." |

"Excellent, I'll have my people draft a treaty as soon as possible," Baltar said, happy things were progressing. "Now, what's next on our agenda?" |

She smiled, she was also happy at how well and quickly things were going. She hoped that by the end of the meeting the two nations would be close allies. "Well what about our borders? How should they be managed?" |

"We'd settle for free transport between our nations, but we would like to hear Courlund's opinion first," Baltar said, pulling out another file folder.

She nodded her head in agreement. "Travell would be good in all forms, it should benefit both of our ecconomies, though Tourisim has never been a major part of our income it would still add something. I think Air, Sea and land would be good. What about military veiichles, say a Courlund Fighter our Aus'tiana Destroyer entered the others terretory? Should this be allowed. I see no problem so it is up to you." "We have already re opened trade and I would like to keep this going, off course all meat must be kosher. Our merchant navy is large, maybe it could be of some use to you?" "We have applied for UNP membership, do you think this is a wise move?" |

"I agree, a free travel agreement would benefit both of our economies; we would also fully support free travel for both of our respective armed forces, especially if it is in conjunction with an integration policy, but I digress. "Regarding trade, we are unable to fulfill full kosher status as there are very few people of the Jewish faith living in Aus'tiana, therefore the blessings will have to be done by your own Rabbis. "And on the UNP, we fully support your membership. Aus'tiana has been involved for more than a year and we are proud of our contributions against fascist oppression and unprecedented war. Our current conflict with Germania is between those involved, and is not a UNP mission," Baltar said. |

"That that is settled, we will set up a free travel agreement and in our mutual defence treaty maybe you could add something about free movment of the armed forces in and out of each others nations." It began to make more and more sense to Juni that the two nations should have some sort of Armed Forces intergation. "This is the arangment we have with most nations so this will not affect much, if anything at all, we can bless any meat that comes into our nation." She wondered how long she would be here, she thought it would of been much slower than it was. "I hope you know you have our full support against the Germanic Reich, our Armed Forces will be moved to a higher readiness level very soon." She continued. "What else do you wish to discuss?"
