The time has come for us to discuss the future of our ideals, our countries, and our livelihood. The pervasive presence of fascism and anti-communist politics threatens our existence of our ways. OOC are communist/far left parties invited as well? like a communist international? Edit: From: Nenetskiĭ Kommunisticheskoĭ partii, Boris Panchyukhov To: Chairman Vladimir Mirsky The Communist Party of Nentsia will attend. Party description: The Communist Party was the only allowed party during the communist rule for 40 years. Vladimir Kalinin, Nikolay Datchesvkyanovich, Josip Kolodin and Mikhail Sebachev were notable presidents in Communist Nentsia. The totalitarian rule ended when president Nikov was overhtrown by an anarchist rebellion. Communism revived shortly after, in the form of party Secretary-General Sergey Zinev. Zinev's rule of terror eventually also led to his decline and he was deposed. More than 5 million Nentsians were killed by the Communist state. The Communist Party today still enjoys great popularity. Many workers and peasants, especially those living in the remote areas of the country, remain loyal to the party. They still remember the good things of communism, like the absence of unemployment, free goods and clear leadership. From: Kolhoz i Yedinstva, Anatoly Demichenko To: Chairman Vladimir Mirsky The Kolkhoz Yedinstva (Collective Farming and Unity) party will attend. Party description: The Kolkhoz Yedinstva (Collective Farming and Unity) party was founded not long ago, by peasants from the remote highlands of Nentsia. The party persuades a stateless, classless rural society in which the country is structured in small rural communities that are self-sufficient through farming. Capitalism and urban life should be banned as they contribute to the destruction of both society and the environment. The people are supposed to work on collective farms, eat their own food and live in peace with others and the nature. The party gains some support from peasants, who struggle these days to keep their farming business ongoing. Since the fall of communism, rural life has become tougher than ever. OOC skipping to the conference, and instead of saying you're arriving I'm assuming that everyone is already there. If you want to attend and the discussion has already started, just RP that you walk in and you're sorry that you're late or something. Chairman Vladimir Mirsky allowed himself a moment of reflection as he sat at the conference table with the myriad of other Chairmen, Commanders, and Party Leader who are spearheading the world's labor movements. Hope. Hope at last! he thought to himself, smiling to the other men. This was truly the foundation of something new. "Welcome to Turria, comrades. I would like to personally greet you to our communal nation, and hope you have a pleasant stay during the conference. This meeting is a collection of all the various People's movements around the world, and its purpose is to determine our plan for the future. We must do everything we can to be the protectors of equality, and the creators of true fairness in a world plagued by class war and fascism. How do you think we could achieve this, comrades?" |
