A Nentsian UNP delegation makes a proposal: Since recent events, many things have changed in Renatia. Imperial Germania waged an aggressive war against two(!) UNP member states, breaking a non-aggression pact with Nentsia. The Nentsian government sees this as a violation of the international law, that restricts nations to break contracts. But above that, Germania waged war without a legitimate reason, and it has even used nuclear weapons on Drake Dragon. The Nentsian UNP investigators state that Dack Korto broke the following laws of war: * Wars should be limited to achieving the political goals that started the war (e.g., territorial control) and should not include unnecessary destruction; we conclude that using an H-bomb in a civilian area is unnecessary destruction. * People and property that do not contribute to the war effort should be protected against unnecessary destruction and hardship; * Protecting both combatants and noncombatants from unnecessary suffering; * Fight only enemy combatants. The Nentsian UNP delegation concludes that the use of nuclear weapons by Dack Korto in a civilian area, is very inhumane as the casualties will mainly consist of civil casualties. Hundreds of schools, thousands of homes, dozens of hospitals and hundreds of churches were destroyed by the H-bomb, killing thousands of non-combatant civilians, and making millions homeless. And those are only the first effects of the H-bomb. We''ll have to wait for the long term effects to see what the total damage is. This city will be contaminated with extremely dangerous radiation for at least 50 years. The effects of the bomb can take as long as 200 years and entire generations will be mutilated by the radiation. This is inhumane, against our civilization and a disgrace for Renatia. We conclude that Dack Korto did not act on behalf of his people, but all by himself. Therefore, we hold Korto and not Germania accountable for the attrocities committed in the High Incident War (WW3). The Nentsian UNP delegation proposes to let the UNP High Tribunal prosecute Dack Korto and release an international arrest warrant for his crimes against humanity, abuse of power and violation of the Laws of war. The second part of our proposal is to withdraw the UNP recognition for Korto as the sovereign leader of Germania. Korto does not act on behalf of his people, or anyone else but himself. Korto abuses his power, and the international community cannot trust him anymore. Korto is a threat to the safety of Renatia, and the UNP should not recognise him as the sovereign leader of Germania. This means the UNP classifies Dack Korto as an illegitimate leader who holds no international rights of sovereignty. Documents he signs as Germanian leader will be invalid to UNP standards, and he will not be treated as a national leader by the UNP anymore, but more like a common criminal. Proposal 1; prosecute Dack Korto and an international arrest warrant: Aye - nay Proposal 2; classifie Korto as an illegitimate leader: Aye - nay Nentsia votes: 1: Aye 2: Aye Edited by Nentsia, 17 Feb 2010, 04:53 PM.
