Yes , So? Boxing has sparring to get ready for a fight with a record to show how many times you have faught. There are actual amateur and pro fights. The sparing isn't for competition you are not supposed to win at sparring. Sparring is just for conditioning and seeing what you need for the actual fight

i used to do kick boxing, and i hated it!!!!! im a tennis girl, or was until i got injured :(
i agree its better if you can use your legs as well, more fun. as for the superbowl, i have never known so many of my friends to watch it as they did this year, jus cos it was american an they wanted to see what the fuss was a bout, half of them switched off bout half way thru, but some really enjoyed it

Sparring in Karate is the word for fighting. So substitute what I've said above with fighting ;)
