...concerning Renatia to NationStates, that is. The only forum i've actually looked at since joining Renatia is this one. I like the community better here, and I feel that national RPs are better when you can actually tracka nd control every aspect of your nation's development, as opposed to NS giving you a standard population that increases far too rapidly, and a community so big that no one knows exactly where in the world they are, because there may already be like..7 nations there. Overall, Renatia is probably my absolute favorite RP community, ever. How about you guys? |

I don't really time how long I spend on each forum but the amount of time I spend each day on all regions' forums is about 1-2 hours, compared to about 10 minutes for the actual game. Where rp is concerned, NS is highly unrealistic. Some regions attempt to compensate for this by having a 'divide your population by 10' rule or something but I think starting from scratch (or almost, NSEconomy is useful for the budgets and exchange rates) is better. It also gives you much more freedom to make your nation what you want of it. Some of the largest regions are so big that if you're new to them, then you have absolutely no chance of gaining much influence in them (in the NS sense and the actual sense). That's why I stick to smaller regions - they're much nicer communities as a whole. |

Well, I divide my time up between different regions, but the time I spend ACTUALLY playing NS is like ten minutes every other day. |

I think Renatia is fantastic. You can do things that you couldn't do on nationstates. Pick a land plot, have wars, write about your country and not have it written for you like on nationstates. RENATIA ROCKS! |
