[align=center]Daelus Academy, School for the Gifted[/align] 50 some years ago, a man named Daelus Manchester founded the Academy in hopes of giving those with special powers and abilities an education when the world shunned their existence. He himself had a powerful telekinetic ability, so strong he once lifted a house from it's supports by accident. As he grew older, he was recognized for his power, but not in a good way. Eventually he learned to mask his powers in public as many schools were in fear of these 'freaks' with unnatural powers. They believed it a 'disease'. Through out high school and college he watched as students would be forced away from schools because they couldn't hide their abilities and they suffered with lack of knowledge. To Daelus, knowledge was true power. After his college years, he began a construction project - a school for those who were gifted with amazing powers, where they could use them with out being considered 'freaks' of nature. The high school was built similarly to a college, but it offered courses like a normal high school would have. Students are not required to pay, as Daelus came from a rich family with a big bank account in his name. After his death some years ago, he left every penny to the school, so the students would still have free admission and boarding. Today the high school goes on as it always has, housing students who seek education and acceptance. --- Sadly, peace is not assured. While surviving a gang headed by Shade, planning and fretting over grades and the upcoming Halloween Masquerade Party, will you be able to stay alive? Once again people fear that which they do not understand, and with the mission statement: capture, test, and kill the abnormalities, will the government funded Freak Removal Service manage to assuage the public discomfort, at the cost of much innocent blood? Experience the thrill, the depression, the teenage drama, here at Daelus Academy. Will you graduate, or be pulled beneath the government blade? |
