Rider: Varia Name: Limnarath Age: 0 Turns Colour: Gold Appearance: Limnarath is on the smaller scale for Gold dragons, only growing to an adult size of 41 meters. But she's of a stockier, more muscular build, so her small size isn't too bad for her. If not for the fact that she's a dragon, she'd probably look more like a wher. But her musculature is smooth and powerful, not lumpy and grotesque like a wher's. Her legs are of a somewhat shorter, more muscular build, good for launching her into flight. Limnarath's neck is long and sinuous, and her wings long and broad, draping over her form gracefully. She's a bright, yellow gold in color, shining in the light brilliantly. She doesn't have many markings, but has a darker golden splash on her muzzle. It looks a bit like someone smeared paint on her, wider and slightly oval shaped. It's on the very tip of her muzzle, between her nostrils. Limnarath's wings also fade to a whiter gold along the edges, but it's not very noticeable at all. Her head is of a thicker, heavier build, being a bit boxy in appearance. Her headknobs are a tad short as well. Limnarath's snout has the same heavy build the rest of her head has, nothing showing it as being hollow, and more rectangular in shape. Her eyes are set deep into her head as well, not sticking out, bulging, etc. Personality: Eccentric: Limnarath is the kind of dragon that is not afraid to deviate from any sort of norm recognized around the Weyr, however minimally or greatly. She'll gladly take a different approach to things, maybe even surprising a few in the process. However, she'll follow normal customs if she believes there's a positive side to doing it. Mostly, it's about whatever choice she thinks will work, and most of the time, it just happens to stray from common practices. Limnarath may also do something different for the sheer enjoyment of it, or to get attention sometimes. In her opinion, everyone ought to pay attention to her, and she'll do things to make sure that attention comes her way. Talkative: This dragon likes to talk. A lot. While she's a dragon, and of course refuses to talk to other humans other than Hers most of the time, she'll gladly talk to any dragon, or perhaps ask them to transfer something to their rider. Limnarath doesn't mind talking about just about anything, whether it's current affairs, the weather, how so-and-so's doing, maybe even gossip a little. Really, it doesn't matter to her, and if you have something to say to her, she's more than willing to answer back and start a conversation. Sly: Well, there's quite a few definitions for sly, and Limnarath just so happens to fit some of them. She's a very cunning dragon, with a sharp wit and a great ability to think and solve problems. While mind games aren't her favorite things, she can come up with many answers to many questions. To go along with the devious facet of her personality, Limnarath is able to think of many ways to solve problems, whether it be a Weyr problem or something more personal. But she can also be the more playful, mischievous kind of sly, and loves to come up with little tricks and some games. She can be rather artful as well, and can, on some occasions, come up with many complicated plans for all sorts of things. Tomboyish: Easily the most unQueenly part about Limnarath. She takes a keen interest in just about every sport or Pernese pastime, especially the spring games. While her size and inability to flame makes it very hard for her to participate in most of these events, she can also make up her own sports, where no flaming and the like is required. She can also be rather loud and rough, (playfully) tackling any playmates, wrestling, and other things. Limnarath also likes many physical competitions, and even playing in the mud, like boys would do. But she tends to hesitate doing things like that if she feels her reputation will turn for the worse. Proud: Limnarath knows she's Gold, and proud of it. She has a very high self esteem, and though she's not exactly vain, she knows her position and that she can do many, many things others can't do, and doesn't feel bad about it in the least. She's the sort that thinks she deserves what she's gotten, whether through luck or determination. Limnarath's also proud of the respect she has (or will) garnered, and tries her best to maintain any respect others have for her, while also making sure she gets and does the things she wants.
