Brown hair, brown eyes. But he’s short for someone his age, standing at a height of about 5”3’. Though he makes good use of his small stature, able to swiftly dart from place to place and go unnoticed in many situations, fitting into crowds. He does have a bright smile, and shining eyes, making him look very friendly to most people. He has a bit of a thin build, as well, making him look even smaller. R'nal has a somewhat round face, covered in freckles, and he keeps his hair clean and combed at almost all times, as his tidy nature demands. He tends to wear just a normal leather outfit and boots, keeping them nice and clean as well. Personality: R'nal is a very cheerful, active boy, loving to explore about ever nook and cranny in sight, mainly in search of any valuables he can scrap up and use. He’s very curious as well, dismantling objects and figuring out what things do in his thirst for knowledge. He loves technology of any sort and will do anything possible to get his hands on something good. R'nal is also very organized about things, and will keep anything he uses absolutely neat and tidy. He puts things in piles, keeps track of things, and puts them out of the way for his own good. Though, it seems to be a bit obsessive, as he can’t stand any dirt in his quarters or making any sort of mess, and promptly cleans anything up. R'nal is good-natured, and loves a good conversation. Just simple chatting and the like. He hardly makes an opinion on sight, and is quite good at developing friendships. Though, he is offended easily, and can often take it a bit seriously, but tries not to snap back. Nal takes values to heart, and always defends his beliefs and never lets go of them, though he respects other people’s and tries not to get in the way of it. History: Born and raised at Relasun Weyr. Like his sister, Rytonal was the result of a mating Flight, his mother being greenrider Varas and his father brownrider R'val. As was custom in Weyrs, he was sent off to a foster parent at an early age, learning and growing under their care. He occasionally saw his sister Varia, but usually not for long. He talked to her a bit on holidays and special events, but their relationship had never really went from just "knowing each other" to the brother-sister relationships seen on Earth. But anyway, Rytonal continued with life, learning all the useful things in life. He also took an interest in various gadgets and little technological things, trying to figure out how everything worked. By eight Turns, he had developed a habit of dismantling things and examining them, something he still does today. Rytonal had hardly any interest in other things for Turns. But when he was eleven Turns old, he had heard that his sister, Varia, was going to try and Stand at a dragon Hatching. Being curious as he was, the boy started to look for as much information on dragons as possible, and after a couple more Turns, had decided that he too would try to become a dragonrider. Rytonal thought that dragonriding would be an incredibly glorious thing, protecting Pern from the menace of Thread. But would he be able to Impress a dragon? So, at 14 Turns, Rytonal signed up for Candidacy, and managed to Impress at the very first Hatching he Stood at.
