Username: Morgan Character Number: 2 Name: Emmyt (Emy) Age: 17, born in Spring Gender: Female Rank: Candidate/Apprentice Dragonhealer Location: Relasun Weyr Sexual Preference: Guys Partner: None, especially if she Impresses Appearance: The first thing you notice about Emy are her eyes. They are brown, but have a sparkle that some may call “impish” that just draws attention to them. Actually, they are the exact same color as her hair, but no one notices because her eyes fixate them. Her hair is not very long; it only falls to about her shoulder, but it is curly. If it was straightened (“who would WANT to, even if they could?”), it may be a foot longer. It’s that curly. Oftentimes, her heart-shaped face is split in half by a wide smile full of straight white teeth. Her figure leaves a lot to be desired. She’s short, but her legs are long in comparison to her torso. This lends her a graceful quality that adds to her stature. She is thin, too. A kinder Headwoman has labeled her figure as “willowy”, some of the blunter boys give her the label “completely flat”. She makes up for this by wearing many skirts under a belted long tunic, even though she prefers slacks. However, most agree that if it wasn’t for her hair, she looks like a boy in slacks. A scar from her past stands out on her arm, even against her pale skin. Personality: Emy enjoys talking. Talking to anyone. Well, talking to anyone or ANYTHING, really. If somebody would sit still long enough, she would tell them her whole life story, down to how many toenails she’d clipped (“once every four sevendays times sixteen turns times nine, no ten, toe nails equals… a lot”). She’s also outspoken, so it’s hard for some to put up with her. She’s not outspoken to the point of being disrespectful. She has her limits, too, you know. She just likes and needs to have her ideas heard. She won’t get pushed around in a conversation. Emy has a strong presence that is hard to ignore. If she isn’t talking, she’s planning on doing or saying something (sometimes off-the-wall) to let people know that she’s there. When in doubt, she doesn’t ask permission. She asks forgiveness. It’s just easier for her that way. In any situation, she will attempt to take control, or at least to help. She is quick to make decisions, but may not think them through to future consequences. She has grown up standing up for others, principally those who are younger than her. She gets a strong mother’s instinct when around young anything, both animals and humans. She is nimble, both with her hands and on her feet. At a Gather, she will be the first on the dance floor, even if she is alone. She will dance by herself. To her, it’s everyone else’s loss. This trait especially holds true when it comes to wrapping bandages. She gets it done with limited amounts of pain on the injured creatures end, at least. History: Emy was apprenticed to the Healer hall, or more specifically, the Dragonhealer when she was twelve. She had also been Standing at other Weyrs for four years, and once got attacked by a Blue Hatchling, but has so far not Impressed. When her parents died when she was 13, she was sent with her younger sister to live with her formidable grandmother, Loere, in Shoyon Hold (If anyone wants to be her little sister, who is 13 NOW it would rock out. I have Loere’s appli, too, if anyone is interested in seeing her. Also, let’s rp the search, kay?). This character has been abandoned; the player has not logged in for more than one month (with no warning and absentee announcement), missed a role call, or has not played a newly Impressed character, despite opportunities and warnings, for at least two weeks. Owning player may still reclaim the character, provided that they explain the abandonment adequately (i.e. lost power unexpectedly). |
