Rider: Z'rem

Name: Koroth
Age: >1
Colour: Bronze

Appearance: Koroth is boldly marked with two shades of bronze. That which is slightly greener [THIS ONE] is most noticeable in the five narrow streaks racing atop his muzzle, from between his nostrils and down his spine to his hindquarters. There are also numerous small nicks of the colour, blending smoothly into the rest, across his wings and toes. The rest of his hide is not as green, and is finely stretched over his triangular frame. He has a narrow head and jaw, and his wings are pointier than most. He must be careful not to skewer anyone in the eye with them.

Over all, Koroth is just on the smaller side of average for a bronze. In terms of proportion, his tail is a touch short and his legs a smidgen long. In fact, he looks a little like an enormous fire lizard, though suggesting such a thing to his face would not be a good idea. Such phrasing might just give him a chance to show off his flexibility as he folds his wings around the offender (if human) or flares them to either side of his head (if draconic and not small enough for the former). At times it seems that he must surely have an extra joint or two along his wings. In truth, however, he is merely double jointed.

Personality: Koroth's image is everything to him. He cannot appear to be too eager, too exciteable, or too interested in females. He cannot be too lazy, too quiet, or too laid-back. Everything must be absolutely perfect. He is careful to always remain completely polite, even if he would prefer to quietly just stomp on his opponent's tail or shove him/her off of a cliff. See, this bronze is proud to the point of obsession. Every movement, every word must be carefully considered and designed in order to have the proper effect. Were it not for that, Pern would descend into chaos. Or at least be slightly less civilized.

As much as he hides it, though, Koroth does have an eye for a pretty female. While he finds golds nice enough, he prefers greens. Perhaps it is connected to the simple fact that every gold in the Weyr is either his mother or his sister, and even for dragons that is a bit close. Inbreeding might not matter genetically, but incest can still be offensive... and as much as Koroth feels the urge to lead, he's smart enough to be disgusted by that prospect. He does not care for Limnarath nor Kaith in that way... and Kaith he avoids anyway.

Now, Koroth has a soft spot for something so small he cannot always see it well. Firelizards. With one of the little pests nearby, he has been known to descend into childlike gibberish in attempting to coax it into coming over. He has had a fair bit of practice in his baby talk due to his rider's green Impatience. For reasons he does not and cannot explain, he finds the little creatures cute and amusing. If he could have a plushy one in his bedroom, he probably would. However, Z'rem is not about to let his bronze be so silly. Why would a bronze want a stuffed toy anyway? He's supposed to be the model of draconic masculinity.

Tell that to Koroth and his sad face.
